Dr. Amy Banooni, MD

Was able to see her quickly for major concern. She is knowledgeable, calm, listens. Referred to another doc in the practice for hysteroscopy only bc I needed it done quickly and she was not available. The recommendation was based on my issues and made perfect sense. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Wait time was very reasonable.

She is patient and listens to me. She answers to my questions. She is very gentle.

I love Dr Banooni! She always makes me feel comfortable and she is very personable and easy to talk to. She never makes me feel rushed and gives me undivided attention when I come in. She single handedly changed my life for the better when she helped me come up with a plan for managing my horrible heavy periods! The best OBGYN. 100% recommend.

Short story, I cried for hours after visiting this doctor. During a very short visit and superficial examination Dr Banouni decided that I need a hysteroscopy. I couldn't understand why until I read her notes for our visit. I realised that she twisted all my words the way so it would justify a very expensive procedure. My complaints that I came with were completely different from what she wrote in the notes. 90% if what she wrote we discussed wasn't even mentioned in the conversation at her office. She completely igroned my needs and put her needs for charging as much as possie first. I felt neglected and taken advantage of. I would never recommend her to anyone.

Worst doctor ever ! I have spent more time in a Car wash ! Zero questions asked of me at 51 : told me to take contraceptives?! No questions or discussions about menopause. All to happy to refer me to 3 other doctors than talk to me based on questions in the chart. I tried to discuss breast issues . NOPE not interested!! Of course once I got to the mammogram: same and had to come back because they discovered what I was trying to tell anyone who would not listen ! Won’t come back . It’s a factory !

Excellent! She is kind, compassionate and calm. Such a good experience.

The BEST! My favorite doctor ever!

You’d be hard pressed to find a more diligent, qualified and personable doctor. Each experience I’ve had with Dr Banooni has been extremely positive. She is thorough and listens to all your questions. She answers honestly and is really an advocate for you as her patient. She is a very accepting and easy to talk to kind of doctor. She also follows through and makes sure her staff follows up with patients.

Not good. A nurse took an extensive history which included many gyn issues; history of breast cancer, mother treated with DES, etc. Dr. Banooni never discussed these issues; did pap test and asked if I was interest in an expensive cosmetic procedure. Total time spent with Dr. seemed to be 5-7 minutes at the most.

Phenomenal doctor! Wouldn’t want anyone else to help deliver my children!

My mother had just been manually examined by two other doctors and was referred to Banooni's office just for an ultrasound. Banooni insisted on doing the manual exam yet again, and with a speculum that was far too big for my tiny mother. My mother couldn't stand up for a while afterwards; she had to just lie there and recover. It was terribly painful and shocking for my mom, and all that was accomplished was a payment to Banooni for an exam that needn't have been done yet again.
