She is truly an amazing physician

Dr. Balka is an amazing doctor! Her colleague, Dr. Knutz, is just as amazing so it's no wonder they work so well together. Approachable, welcoming, caring and thorough are just a few sentimentd I use all the time when I talk about Dr. Balka to my family and friends. I've been a patient of hers for the past 8 years and trust her like no other doctor. I am 58 years old and have never had a primary care physician before. I have, fortunately, been blessed with a great relationship with the Nurse Practitioner at my OB-GYN's practice for 35 years and she has always taken terrific care of me by offering guidance and recommendations. I trusted her like no other person in the world. She retired about 15 years ago and I took my time finding my medical replacement. My standards are extremely high so when I was referred to Dr. Balka, I was unsure if I would be completely comfortable with a long term commitment. Within 2 minutes into my first visit with Dr. Balka, I knew she was MY doctor!

Her profile states, “Dr. Balka has a special interest in chronic disease management.” This is not true. She is very kind. She is excellent at filling prescriptions quickly. If you have a chronic illness or disease, she will not help you. I highly recommend finding a different doctor.

Dr. Balka is kind and patient. She always manages to squeeze me in if it's urgent and takes her time explaining things in simple terms.

Dr Balka is always responsive to our needs and her staff goes above and beyond!

She is a great Dr. She is to the point and goes above and beyond. My whole family goes there. With my parents up in age she really takes care of there needs. The staff always , always, always helpful with anything I ask. I love this Dr. best I ever had.
