He's terrific and straightened my out infection
Dr. Tayara was my hospital doctor in infection control at Baptist Health Floyd. Over the years I've had countless diabetic relation infections because of my immunosuppressed status. Dr. Tayara is easy to relate to and talk to and always knows to seem which therapy to dial up and fixes the problem. I create some of my own problems with my health as its been bad for many years but he finds ways to get me fixed up and straightened out until I do something dumb and get myself into a mess again every 2 or 3 years. Another thing is that he often works with getting home care for people and works with people in Louisville who were great to work with and delivered their home therapy including when he and other doctors think you are ready to go home. His ARPN Heather is also excellent in being of great assistance.

I've had 3 different hospitalizations since the fall of 2017, the last being fall of 2019 and I have to say that Dr. Tayara was really professional and did a great job in trying to figure out what he needed to do in order to tame my infection issues. I went to medical providers in both Salem St. Vincent and Scottsburg Hospital in 2017 to 2019 and every time I went to Dr. Tayara even though I was hospitalized he actually figured the problem out and corrected things. I went to both the Salem St. Vincent ER and Scottsburg ER along with my primary care and they couldn't even get my pneumonia cleared and it took 3 plus months to clear it from my chest. If you really have a problem with your breathing or in my case multiple issues that you tell people and they don't seem to want to fix the problems, by all means find a way to get to this hospital because generally you're going to have better overall care than what you'll get at the smaller hospitals. Dr. Tayara is a terrific doctor.
