Dr Hassan provided me with some sample medication for IBS and I tried to get a prescription. It was denied by insurance and other meds were recommended. Vanessa not only followed up with the denial and attempted to secure another prescription, she called me to see how the medication was working. She then worked on my situation diligently until she was able to get a pre-approved prescription. She was not only professional, she was caring and very personable. Dr. Hassan is fortunate to have Vanessa on his staff and I wanted to publicly thank her - I only wish there were more stars to give Vanessa.

He got me through Covid in 2020 through after effects of liver damage great bedside manner

The office staff is the most unprofessional and rude staff I’ve ever dealt with for any business, specifically Christie and Jason. Their incompetence led to my procedure being cancelled after I prepped for it, spent money on prescriptions and took time off work. They called me the morning of the appointment to tell me it was cancelled and blamed the insurance company and told me they did nothing wrong and if I have any issue to take it up with the insurance company. Jason also told me to they are not the only gastroenterologist in the area and I should go elsewhere. He told me that he’d be thrilled to never to deal with me or United Healthcare ever again. After all this transpired I contacted United Healthcare and was told they were only given the request 3 days before the procedure. Ultimately they did get it approved on a rush basis just prior to the scheduled time but it was too late as the doctors office already cancelled everything. THIS IS NOT A FAILURE OF UNITED HEALTHCARE IT
