I have used Dr. Sharma for at least 10 years. He takes his time with you, listens and explains what the options are for your pain. His two PA's are wonderful!! I have referred a number of people to him and they have been pleased with his care. He's fantastic!!

Best Pain Management Dr in NY
I have been struggling with back issues for 8 years. The last 4 years have been increasingly more struggling, limiting the quality of life events I may attend. So much so that traveling and sitting for long enough periods for family events and entertainment have become very difficult. Dr Sharma has been a blessing helping me manage my back limitations so as to help me maintain a quality of life I wouldn't have without him. Last year I wasn't able to get up from a chair without a cane or walker. The pain was debilitating. Today, I can stand the pain better and attend family events, sit for a show or movie and get out of the house each day. Most people take these things for granted, but for me, Dr Sharma gave me my life back. I am grateful, for having him care for me, every day. He is such a knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly doctor. I always look forward to seeing him. I recommend him to everyone I know having issues with pain. He can help you. Get your life back too.

Top Doctor
Best of the spine doctors! I was told I am not a candidate for surgery as I was either too old or too sick. I saw Dr. sharma few months ago and after few scans, he said Intracept could be the treatment that finally gets me my life back. I finally had it done at three levels a month ago and boy was he right. I have never felt this good in ages. I owe a lot to him, not just a review!

Thank you!!
Thank you for the referral. I am very pleased to report that I have been treated by Dr. Sharma for a handful of times over the last many years for my neck pain, sciatica, and bone-on-bone knee arthritis. He has been honest and has guided me through treatment. I am not 100% pain free, but 90% better for each of these conditions. I am overall satisfied with his staff, his medical assistants and communication team.

Best Spine Doctor
I wish I could give Dr. Sharma a 10 star review. His office has some issues, just like most medical practices have nowadays. Dr. Sharma is excellent. He spent a lot of time with me and my wife explaining my findings on the MRI, possible source of my problem and potential treatment options. I finally underwent Intracept procedure and I have been pain free from last six months. I will forever be a fan of him!!

I don’t think I have ever met a doctor who sounded like a teacher. Their team, from the Pa to the doctor, focused heavily on showing me my MRI pictures, spent time explaining the MRI findings using a none model, giving me information what the condition meant and simply advised me an exercise routine using a professional looking booklet. I followed the plan like a dedicated student and have become pain free in 3 weeks, without any more appointments. Who does that? I met so many doctors before for weeks who tried pushing drugs and injections. Hats off to the group!! I heard their surgeons are equally nice. Highly recommended for a second opinion. It’s your spine bro!

On July 1,2020 I was a new patient for Dr. Amit Sharma. First I would like to thank Anna for sending me all the paperwork home before my appt. Second I would like to thank Courtney so much for all her help getting all the paperwork for my MRI done in less than 48 hour's on a holiday weekend. Plus for making all the calls so my MRI would be approved fast. Third I would like to thank Dr. Sharma for being an outstanding doctor that really listens to his patients. I walked into his office with so much pain & he explained to me everything that he could do to help me with my health problems. I am so happy that I was referred to him. Such a nice gentleman & his secretary Courtney goes out of her way to make sure that all the paperwork is done. So the doctor can order the tests. Dr. Sharma thank you so much for taking me as a patient. Thank you Courtney for all your help...??

One of the most compassionate , educated, caring doctor I have ever met. He really wants what is best for you. He came thru when others did not. Just him walking into my hospital room with his warm smile, always made me feel better. I had complete trust in him. Hated when I had to move out of state and leave his practice.

Terrible, office said they took my insurance, they did not, he did not recommend physical therapy then said I refused it. Seeing a new guy who said I could have ended up paralyzed without treatment. I don't think he took me, my concerns or my injury seriously. 0% recommendation

Dr. Sharma is excellent and spends quality time with the patient. He explains everything without talking down to the patient. The staff at that office is terrible. They will not send information due to HIPPA- but have not problem shouting your name and co pay amount across a crowded waiting room. They "disconnect" you on the phone if the office is busy- no one seems to be responsible for anything. The office needs a competent office manger.

Dr. Sharma is excellent-listens to what you are telling him. However, the office staff is terrible! I have left messages that never were sent, they disconnect all the time- they only want your date of birth and co pay- not interested in the patients. It is a same such a wonderful doctor has such a poor staff.

To start off, I had suffered in pain for 3 months before calling his office. They got my mri done prior to my appointment saving me a visit. Dr. Sharma was excellent, from listening to educating me and my husband on our options. I am glad to have found a solution to my nagging pain. Thank you very much for an amazing service!

Just a great doctor. He listens, examines, explains and teaches, like a doctor should. Why don’t they make more of them in medical schools anymore? I was given a booklet with instructions to follow an exercise routine, no injections, no surgery. I am almost back to normal. I recommend him highly for anyone with back pain!!
