Dr Abtahi treatment
I was hospitalized for CIDP treatment that included a lot of images of my spine. Dr Abtahi came to my room and said he was a spine doctor. My spine was compressed and I would never walk again. Never seen him before and never will see him again.

Terrible
Do not go to him!!! I've been having terrible back pain and can barely walk. Had an appointment with them today only to be told basically there's nothing that can be done. I'm 48 yrs old and can barely get out of bed. Had 3 previous surgery but nothing can be done. I wonder if he would tell his family that....

I went to Dr Abtahi for a cyst in my lower back that I was told was to large to drain and needed poss removal. Dr Abtahi told me I could go back to Montrose and have shots in my back for pain and said the cyst was 4mm when the radiologist said it was 11mm? I called the office in Durango and asked to speak to someone with my questions. It took the nurse 2 weeks to call me back and then did not answer my ?'s The Dr called me 3 weeks later and still did not answer ?'s. Went to another Doctor in GJ

Dr. Abtahi was able to find the pinched nerve causing debilitating back pain. For at least six months prior to finding Dr. Abtahi I went to five other so called back specialists who just wasted my time and told me there was nothing that could be done and they prescribed more opiods. It felt like a miracle when Dr. Abtahi pointed directly to the pinched nerve on my MRI on my first visit. The surgery was smooth as silk, Mercy Hospital and its staff were amazing. All the way a GREAT experience.
