Cataract surgery
I was extremely pleased with the outcome of my cataract surgery. I was searching for a surgeon for over three years and I found Dr Shrier that was highly recommended by a cardiologist in nyc.Her bedside manners are so impressive and her experience doing this type of surgery is very well known for and its outcomes are very positive

Scary experience
She was rude and condescending during my visits. Always in a rush and hated to answer any questions (and would changed the subject so she didn't have to). She never wrote down my list of medications or medical conditions into my chart, as a result an eye drop I'm allergic to was put in my eye on the day of surgery! Also instead of looking at my history she wrote wrong things about my prior eye surgeries and if I didn't hear her saying an incorrect thing to her assistant and tell her it was wrong, she would have actually put a wrong IOL (fake lens) into my eye during the cataract surgery--and that is something you never want to have to redo once you've done it wrong!

Dr. Schrier is a compassionate, friendly and informative professional with years of experience from the best institutions in New York. My initial visit with her really eased my fears as I was very anxious about the surgery. My procedure went very smoothly and I was well taken care of by her entire staff. Her leadership is evident in all who work with her. I have and will continue to sing the praises of Dr. Schrier and recommend her to anyone especially if you have anxiety about cataracts.
