Dr. Amie Sessa, MD

Dr. Sessa has been my husband’s and my dermatologist for a few years now and she is not only very professional, but very pleasant as well. She was the only dermatologist to solve a problem my husband had had for over 15 years. She explains what she is going to do and why she is doing it. We both really like her.

Dr. Sessa is extreamly thorough with an awesome personality. Unlike most Dermatology practices, the wait for an appointment is no more than 2-3 weeks and when I arrive, I’m seen within 10 minutes. The staff is very welcoming. I would highly recommend this practice.

I have been going to Dr. Sessa and her associates for several years since having been referred by my radiation oncologist at Union Memorial Hospital. Dr. Sessa is great. But her entire staff and group of associate physicians is great. Mohs surgery, if you need it can be long, and involved so be prepared to spend a few hours if you need it. But these professionals are great, and I have no infections, no return of the cancer, and very few if any issues with the billing. THEY'RE GREAT! Paul Farber

Dr. Sessa is very knowledgeable in her field. What I like most about her is that she doesn't push services and products on you that are not needed unlike most Dermatologists. I highly respect her honesty. I will and have recommended Dr. Sessa to my friends and family.

Dr. Sessa was recommended to me by a friend. I found her to be both very professional and caring during my first vist. Later when I was diagnoised with skin cancer she took the time to expain the situation and treatment options in detail. I have taken my daughters to see Dr. Sessa.

Dr. Sessa is professional and very knowledgeable, but also personable! I'm at the point in my life where I need to start taking better care of my skin and monitoring its changes and Dr. Sessa's been great at recommending what to remove & keeping my skin looking young & healthy.

Just left the office of SCS Physicians- Dr. Sessa was amazing. She is very thorough, competent and has wonderful patient/doctor communication skills. I left very assured and with the procedures I needed done completed without an additional appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Sessa and SCSP!

Little to no desire to hear patient experiences, condescending, while recommending treatments that have already proven to be unsuccessful.

Did not feel like she really cared about me as a patient, abruptly took me off of medication that should not be abruptly stopped, did not adjust treatment when I was unsatisfied with resulta.
