Dr. Amer Kassar, MD

We had an appt 6 weeks ahead of time,and we waited over an hour to see the doctor. It seemed like an assembly line of people going in and out. Each appt lasted about 15 mins, as did ours! He gave us blood test orders but failed to tell us we had 24 hrs to go get the test performed, or they would be void. When I called the receptionist about the orders, she then told me we had 24 hrs. That was two days later She was short with me, rude and dismissive, if you want a doctor who is thorough and takes any time with you he is NOT THE ONE! IF you feel comfortable being part of an assembly line go to him!

None of the GN Endocrinology offices are following the CDC guidelines for mask wearing, even though they say they are! We are in a high risk, level 3 right now! CDC, as of today, says masks should be worn in public indoor spaces in all high level areas! Even the NP and most of the staff were not wearing masks. The NP put it on when I mentioned it, but it never even covered her nose! They treat Diabetics! Some of the most vulnerable to Covid. My fully vaccinated cousin just had Covid and ended up in ICU! Thank God she made it. Four of my other relatives have had breakthrough cases! I have gone above and beyond to protect myself so I do not give it to my 88 year old Mother! Then, I go in this office and half if the staff and patients are not wearing masks! Unbelievable!

Dr. Kassar is a really good Doctor. I do like most of the staff. We are in a terrible pandemic with Covid 19. No receptionist, M.A., Doctor or employees of this office wore a mask. People were in the waiting room with no masks. I wore mine.

Doctor and staff very pleasant and accommodating. Doctor took the time to discuss my recent ultrasound, which I had in that office. It was easy and fast on a Saturday. The Dr. didn't rush in and out. He was patient and very knowledgeable. He made the visit pleasant.

Wonderful doctor! The staff is excellent! Everyone is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and caring!!! I strongly recommend this office. The ladies at the front desk are great!!! Kirsten is a great addition to their team!!!!

I love Dr. Kassar and all of his staff. The nurses and receptionist are very polite. Sarah is always helpful ??. I would recommend this Doctor to anyone.

Before seeing Dr. Kassar my diabetes was out of control and my A1C kept creeping up. Thanks to Dr. Kassar and NP Victoria Barajas and their wonderful staff, I have lost 50 lbs in their weightloss clinic, and now am a controlled diabetic with a low A1C. I was also able to come off insulin. I have seen such improvement in my overall health in just a year of being a patient. Highly recommend.

After being treated for my thyroid condition by my PCP for years, I made the decision to go to a specialist. I ask around and Dr Kassar’s name kept coming up. I made the appointment to see him and I’m so glad I did. I’m now feeling so much better. He and his staff are very welcoming and friendly. One thing I appreciate is that he keeps me accountable for my health and will not refill my script if he doesn’t see me on the regular. Thanks doctor Kassar and staff, you guys rock! See ya soon!

After first visit, they called in the wrong dosage of synthroid. It took several days/phone calls to correct. After second visit, they called in the wrong medicine. I called and the office staff said the doctor never prescribed synthroid. I told her his name is on my empty prescription bottle! I said I was going on vacation and needed the refill...never got it. When I got back (after a week with no medication) I received 1 refill and a letter from them telling me to find a new doctor. FYI...Dr. Kassar, I already fired you!

I am unhappy with this provider due to him denying my Synthriod refill admist me tryin to workout insurance coverage. I was informed to go to an er or urgent care after almost two years of being his patient.

The Kassar and his associates (especially, one of the nurse practitioner) did not provide professionally. They didn't explain fully enough; even, medical terms on lab order my wife was going to take were not explained. They did NOT care patient's medical treatment, only care about money. We went to this office for three times and finally concluded "not going there, anymore." I'm not a medical practitioner who competes with him. I'm in higher education field. I'm so disappointed about them!

I love Dr. Kassar! And his staff. All are so very helpful and friendly. Dr. Kassar always is thorough and such a positive person!

Everyone in the office is very friendly. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes. Dr. Kassar has called me himself to follow up with blood work results, medication changes and when I need to be seen again. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful regarding questions. I couldn't be more happy that I chose him as my endocrinologist.
