Dr. Amelia Wantland, MD

DR WANTLAND IS BY FAR THE BEST DOCTOR WE EVER HAD AND MY HUSBAND AND I ARE VERY BLESSED TO HAVE HER AS OUR PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN. She listens and gets to the bottom of your issues and discusses every concern that you have. She takes her time. She is an excellent health care provider!

Dr. Wantland was the best doctor I ever had. She left Deer Park a year or two ago, and I've been kind of desperate to find her. I feel like I've had trouble with doctors in the past. Dr. Wantland actually listened and empathized with me about my issues. It felt like she genuinely cared about my health and wellbeing. With other doctors, I just always feel like they're trying to get you through and out of there as quickly as possible. Today, I went to go see the other doctor they put me with after she left, and I absolutely hate seeing her. She's super dismissive and is pretty much everything I dislike in a family care doctor. I want Dr. Wantland back. I'd drive a couple of hours to see her. If I could just figure out where the hell she is.

I’ve been gone several different doctors that were not given me satisfied. But this one Dr Wantland and we sat down and talk about my health issues I noticed she began understood me immediately like began to connect with her bond to me were one of the kind Doctor that what I’ve been looking for and finally I felt like I’m going to cried but I didn’t so meant that I’m very happy to have her and hopefully for at least long time but I only had with hér almost 5 months. I’m breaking my heart down and tried to find her. I’m still looking. Please let me know when anyone found her email me at Rhinochasers10@aol.com....I’ll pray for her to come back......

Dr. Wantland was the best doctor that I have ever had! She was very professional and a leader in her career. Many healthcare professionals could only hope to be as good. Please let me know if anyone knows where she has gone.

I absolutely loved Dr. Wantland. She was the first physician I'd found in a very long time that spent time with me to hear what was going on and I didn't feel like I was being just rushed through the office, or pawned off on other providers. Or worse, scolded for my weight being told that was the cause of all my health issues. I recently learned she's no longer at Deer Park Family Medicine and it breaks my heart that I now will probably go through a long search to find another physician. My boyfriend had even begun to see her before she left and loved her, and he HATES doctors. If you find where she's gone to, go see her! You won't regret it.

Best Dr by far. She takes her time with you and goes over everything. I just found out that she is no longer with Deer Park Family and I’m at a loss for words. I really hope I can find her and start going to her office. If anyone finds her please let us all know.

I am so happy with Dr. Wantland as my primary care physician. When I was looking for a new Dr. I wanted someone who is knowledgeable, caring, thorough and attentive, she is all of the above.

Dr. Wantland goes above and beyond. She is so kind, professional and very thorough. She truly listens to you and your concerns. I would recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Wantland is a kind, compassionate doctor. She does not hesitate to refer you to someone who can help if it's out of her realm of expertise. Dr. Wantland is very thorough. She has given me medicine that I was not familiar with that really helped my operated-on foot. She is always willing to share information and she listens to my concerns. She is like a breeze of fresh air compared to other doctors I've seen!

Dr. Wantland is a new doctor, but she is very patient and kind. She is a great primary care physician who has given me some great referrals. I work in the healthcare here in Louisville and have always been impresssed with the services through the Baptist Health network.

I met with Dr. Wantland for the first time yesterday. I felt so grateful to have found such a patient, kind, and knowledgable physician. She asked questions, listened well to my responses, and addressed all of my medical concerns.
