Dismissive, condescending
My experience with Dr. Prado has been right along the lines of most of the other reviews. I found her to be quite dismissive and condescending. She constantly interrupts and doesn't listen well when I am able to speak. She has a tone of lecture instead of conversation. When I arrived for my very first visit, the person who checked me in told me I could try one of their other providers if I didn't like Dr. Prado. I've never been told that before in a providers office and now I understand why I was told that.

Discouraged & disappointed
It took 20 days to receive a “copy and paste” response to my blood work.I have still not heard back from you regarding my CT scan that was on the 20th of December. Also, her inability to get to know me & her lack communication regarding relevant patient information has let me know that is how she practices medicine. In reading her reviews I am not alone in my opinion. Utterly disappointed & thankful the other doctors I have do not show this lack of compassion and respect.

Dr. Prado & Medical Assistant unprofessional
When I first met Dr. Prado I was struck by how much she did not want me as her patient. She refused to answer any question in regards to my health, I realize that my appointment was an emergency appointment but she absolutely refused to answer any question other than to refill some prescriptions for me. My 2nd appointment did not go any better. Also, don't run out of meds with this Doc, you'll get nasty voicemail messages telling you how inappropriate your messages about them holding your prescription hostage is. Actually my advice is to avoid UC Health entirely. They don't care about their patients, all we are is a paycheck to them. Perhaps 19 years is not enough time practicing, perhaps she should take some training on how to act with patients.

Rude and dismissive
Wish I would have looked at the other reviews before making an appointment. She talked over me, interrupted, and misstated what I told her. Nothing useful gained from the appointment.

Failure to follow up on critical diagnostic test
I went to Dr. Prado to establish care and to obtain an order for a critical follow up test I need done. Dr. Prado sent it to the wrong place first. Next, it was not signed when it was sent. It took me over 2 weeks of almost daily follow up to finally get what I needed. I only got it then because I insisted to speak with someone and refused to hang up the phone until I got the MA on the line. Instead of helping me with my health, going to Dr. Prado potentially made it worse with mistakes, delays, and no follow up.

If I could give no stars I would.
Doctor Prado was extremely condescending and did not thoroughly listen to a single word I said. It is a shame that I had the experience I did with her because the nurse that I took my vitals with was so sweet. The doctor walked into the room and you could tell immediately that she viewed patients as merely a number, not even bothering to introduce herself and telling me to take a picture of her computer screen to get information on we’re she was referring me for testing. Needless to say, I spent the majority of the appointment being interrupted and made to feel like the concerns I wanted to address were trivial. I was lectured about concerns and health issues that I didn’t even have on my chart to discuss, was practically shamed for saying I had been struggling to exercise like normal due to knee pain, and then told that I would be denied further investigation on my knee issues because “you’re so young”. Dismissive, rude, and also combative. DO NOT waste your time.

Dismissive
Still regret seeing her. Made me feel embarrassed about my condition. Didn't thoroughly follow through with issues following blood tests, as well as physical exams. Left me feeling like she either didn't know what she was doing, or simply didn't care about me as a patient.

Dr. Prado was very rude and short with me every time I came in for an appointment. I felt she ordered very unnecessary tests because I had full medical coverage. I asked for a letter to clear me for work after extensive amounts of testing. The letter she provided me with was full of unnecessary information about my medical history and when I asked her to remove it she said she couldn't. Her assistant seemed very confused that it was even in the letter. I felt like my HIPPA rights were violated!
