Awesome Dr
Dr Anees was very thorough with my first visit. She was informative, answered any questions I had, and explained test that she wanted to run and why it would benefit me. She was to the point and honest with my diagnosis. I would definitely recommend her to anyone I know. She is well spoken and polite and I was completely comfortable with her in my first visit.

Incompetent Staff Terrible experience
There are several reasons I’m writing this review, but first off I didn’t appreciate how Dr. Anees chastised me for having a colonoscopy done by another doctor. My primary physician tried to schedule it with her first but her office was unresponsive and another Dr was available. Also her staff, it may be one individual, could not get my meds that the Dr. prescribed straight and it took almost 2 weeks for me to get them. This was after numerous phone calls and an in person visit out of desperation to get it straightened out. I had recently been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and was struggling mentally and physically. I also told her staff person that I expected a call from the doctor so I could tell her about my experience. Of course, no contact was made. Then they call me this week to confirm my appointment, which I had made clear weeks ago that I was cancelling as I was seeing another doctor. Also their email box was full for weeks. If you’re sick, this is not the place to go.

No reason for being consistently this late
Won't be seeing her again. Was referred to her to have an endoscopy. Waited several weeks between referral, initial visit and endoscopy. Then another 7 weeks for a follow up. The initial visit I waited almost 45 minutes. The follow-up I waited over an hour before I left without ever seeing her. She owes me 4 hours of PTO and mileage for my hour drive to an appt she didn't show up for.

She has been my doctor for over 10 years. Very easy to understand procedures and has the most wonderful bedside manner. I feel very confident of her and when I have to have a colonoscopy she makes me feel relaxed and sure that all goes well. Also she is the prettyest doctor in the midwest!

Excellent gastroenterologist
Did diagnostic colonoscopy. Very concerned about patient health. Regardless of what else I read on these ratings, my experiencing having her treat my reflux has been excellent. She is careful and methodical. This specialist will remain in charge of my GI health. A+

She is ALWAYS over an hour late. I over heard her answer a personal phone call and spoke for 15 minutes before coming into the room. She constantly interrupts my questions and only spends abput 10 minutes with me after I wait 1-2 hours on her to come in.

Horribly long wait in waiting room- was seen for 20 minutes- was told I need surgery- billed $372!!! Went to get second opinion-no surgery needed -billed $70! Something is seriously wrong with this picture! Overcharges patients and gives wrong information! Moberly Hospital is known for both of these things! Will NEVER go back!!
