The Best of the Best!!!
I am amazed by some of the comments here. Dr. Siva has been my doctor for over 10 years, and the only reason I do not retire and move back to Missouri is because I will lose her as my doctor. Seven years ago, she found that I had a cancerous tumor on my right kidney. She called me and asked that I come in with my two adult children (whom she had met at previous doctor appointments), and once I was there, she conveyed the information and had already consulted with a kidney specialist. I am alive today because of her. She is extremely thorough in her examinations of me, both in-house and online, and she answers questions I have. I thank her from the bottom of my heart and almost every day for being the kind of doctor everyone deserves to have. I respect and love her, not only for her professionalism and thoroughness, but also for her kindness and concern.

Our relative who has been a patient of Dr. Sivanandam's for over 5 years recently during an out of state vacation was put into an ICU unit due to an enlarged heart and lungs not draining. Her daughter and husband called the Dr.'s office to reach Dr. Sivanandam. They were on hold for 30+ minutes. When Jessica the office manager finally was on the phone she was short, rude and lacked empathy about the fact they wanted to speak to the Dr. to see is she could speak to the out of state ICU Dr. regarding the critical state her patient was in. Jessica said "all Doctors are entitled to up to 72 hours to return any phone calls". In addition, TWO DAYS later, Jessica left a message with the daughter saying "Dr. Sivanandam said to have the out of state doctors send her medical records from the ICU visit to our office once she's discharged then once back in California make an appointment with Dr. Sivanandam to follow up. Please know she is booked up for the next couple of months though". This is unacceptable and shows pure lack of consideration of patient care or the fact that for years the Dr. has been seeing this patient yet didn't bother to call the family back and Jessica had no concern about getting the patient in sooner considering the nature of these circumstances. This office is undermining Loma Linda's reputation.

Dr. Siva and her staff are not only unprofessional but very rude. Dr. Siva denied my prescription to get refilled for my thyroid reason being she wants to see me mind you I had did my labs and they were fine so at this point there is no reason for me to see her except to get a bill. Needless to say I call to make a appointment and was told they do not have a schedule up for dr. Siva and they haven't for a couple weeks now and they don't know when they would get one. So I call the office to ask

Dr Siva has been my Dr for years--she is aggressive with her treatments & I like that in a Dr--she's a get it done type , which suits me just fine. When I'm ill I want answers & she even gets back to me on My Chart.

Limited my healthcare questions to no more than three. Limits her time with me to ten minutes. She shows her passion satisfying her employer. She does not study the patient's case. She reads off a laptop computer your bloodwork results, your issues to which she has excuses why nothing should be done. I did not see the value of her care on my family. She stands up upon reaching the ten minute mark. Fourth question will be discussed on the next appointment.
