Dr. Amber Shada, MD

Dr Shada performed laparoscopic hernia repair 6 years ago. Mesh was never seated where it was supposed to be. Went back three times in pain post surgery and complaints were disregarded. Had to go to a different hospital system under undergo three repairs due to the initial surgery. Still having issues and part of original mesh is stuck to major vessels and cannot be removed. Have lost most normal functions of my body from belly button down to thighs. If you are considering Dr Amber Shada for any surgery please do yourself a favor and find a different provider. No sense of empathy or follow through.

This doctor has no empathy and is arrogant and downright rude. I had a terrible consult with her - not only was she not helpful, but left me in tears and made me feel humiliated and hopeless. I regret driving for hours to see her. I am so sick of seeing these doctors who came to medicine for their ego and/or money and forgot that their profession is meant to help and offer people hope and compassion.

She is a wonderful docto with a great bedside manner. She placed the Enterra Neurostimulator device in my stomach for gastropresis. I couldn't be more happier! I finally feel like I can eat a meal & I won't be sick & have my whole day ruined. Thank you so much for taking phenomenal care of me. Also, the UW East hospital team I had is remarkable. From the nurses, to everyone I speak to on the phone, and check out after appointments are fabulous!! I'm so grateful. Thank you!!!
