Dr. Amber Ferrell, MD

I had a medical scare and urgently needed to speak to Dr. Ferrell to discuss some unsettling test results. She would not return my call because she was too busy. Her staff couldn't answer any of my questions, which is understandable, but then became increasing rude and annoyed when I insisted on speaking to the doctor. I had no choice but to find another doctor since this doctor was non concerned about my health.

I’ve had bad prenatal care past pregnancies and I’ve been looking for a doctor that can treat me as a high risk. After a lot of research I was recommended to her office, she’s very attentive, very supportive, just a super doctor! She delivered my baby and was with me throughout the whole process. I’m very grateful for her because she respected & oriented my opinions and decisions. I wouldn’t have wanted another doctor but her. I definitely recommend her to anyone. I Will definitely stay with her as my obgyn, and for any future children I wouldn’t want any other doctor but her. Such an angel

Dr. Ferell was not a good practitioner. She failed me as a patient by not taking my fibroid diagnosis seriously. She discovered them in 2015 and instead of being proactive with treatment in the beginning, she advised me to take the “wait and see” approach. Under her care, I became anemic due to heavy bleeding, experienced painful cramping, and even started to have a bulge in my abdomen due to the fibroid growth. While knowing I had a growing fibroid, she refused to treat or refer me to a specialist for treatment. I had no choice but to advocate for myself and remove her as my doctor. I have now found a better more proactive OBGYN that listens to my needs and is working with me on treatment. I would not recommend Dr. Ferell as an OBGYN due to her inability to properly care for her patient.

Dr Ferrell is an exceptional person! You don’t find people as dedicated and attentive anymore. I couldn’t ask for anything more the way she took care of me and our soon to be born munchkin during my first pregnancy and delivery- it all went amazing. She made me feel calm and assured, answered all my questions! She went above and beyond! I would not ever use another doctor! (As for wait at the office in Brooklyn Hospital where she used to work I understand how busy the Dr was so it was understandable - it was ok with me. Also Dr Ferrel isn’t at the Next Generation practice any longer)

Dr. Ferrell is an amazing, hard working, dedicated, trustworthy, very honest, calm,supportive, doctor. I have been coming to doct ferrell for 7 years now and I wouldnt change her for anyone. “Thanks for your good care and concern… You are truly a remarkable doctor and professional that I respect and trust.

Stay Away!! Terrible Doctor! I waited over 2 hours to be seen for my first prenatal visit with this doctor only to be told she couldnt find my baby heart beat. She sent me to the hospital to have another scan. I had to wait for over 24 hrs to receive confirmation from her that I did miscarry. there was no follow up on how I should proceed. She totally ignored my phone calls and text messages while I walked around with a DEAD EMBRYO in my body. She has no compassion or bed side manner. Totally lacks empathy and sympathy. I would never recommend her to anyone and I will be reporting her to joint commission.

Dr. Ferrell is a rare find, and I am very happy to be her patient. She is very energetic, knowledgeable and friendly.

I'm high risk pregnancy because of brain condition. Dr. Ferrell is so attentive and assertive with her care of her patients. I had 2 pregnancies back to back, she took exceptional care of me. She takes her time to listen and address any and every concern of the patient. I've had a lot of doctors, I can truly say she is THE MOST THOROUGH!! After God, I trust her with my life

She was very attentive during my pregnancy. Being a first time mom i had lots of questions and she answered all of them and more. She also followed thru on my request for giving birth and was exceptional. She is very friendly and easy to talk to.
