Unprofessional
She was my daughter's Dr. and insisted Me (she was Not my dr.) And my teenage daughter get medicated and have weight loss surgery everytime we had a visit. So glad we found a different Dr who actually listens and has a much less drastic approach. I think she was just trying to make a name for herself and doesn't account for long term side effects of any procedure/meds.

Would never recommend her
I have no confidence in Dr. Hassan medical care. She lacks compassion and is unresponsive to patient needs. She is my doctor and my elderly parents. If you call with a question you never hear from her no matter what the circumstances. Someone else calls you and is very short and leaves you on hold a long time. We will no longer go to her and will find a new doctor. The office staff is very nice but the wait time on the phone is extremely long

for standard care only
Doctor is "by the textbook" and would be great if you only wanted monitoring and did not have to deal with chronic health conditions or questions. If you do, off to specialists you will go. She will not use previous health record and expects you to do everything else over again. She literally jumped when I asked her to look at a mole to determine if a return trip to dermatology was necessary or not. Bedside manner is awful btu she is definitely knowledgeable about routine tests and procedures just not her actual patient's health hisory.

Unwilling to Help
First time meeting was today. I had to get a new primary due to my old one leaving the state sadly. Dr Hassan was beyond disappointing. Told me it wasn’t her job to fill out insurance paperwork for a medication I needed. I’ve never met a doctor who thinks it’s not their job to fill out paperwork for a medication. Appointment was rushed. She was dismissive of my questions. I told her this wasn’t a good fit and asked for my copay to be refunded and left. Will be reporting her to McLaren. Doubtful they’ll take any action since all medicine is money driven. Super disappointed and angry at this situation.

Dr. Hassan is always very professional and takes a great amount of care in making sure she answers all of our questions. She's very, very thorough and always follows up after the appointment. I highly recommend her and I'm so happy to have her as our doctor.

Dr. Hassan will not hesitate to send you to a specialist if so needed. I am confident that she will make sure that everything is diagnosed properly, as she has already done in my case. She is also very nice and kind and even though this is our first year with her we are happy to have her as our doctor.

My search for a primary care giver for my 92 year old mother had led me to Dr. Hassan. My first encounter was quite intense. My second was downright anger, you do not tell your patient to hurry up because you have other patients waiting, total disregard for requests for flu shots, r/x refills, took 45 days to get an appointment into a pain clinic, that was do to poor management. DR vs patient DR stays a mile away. Takes a lot to get a 92 ready for any appointment. Not Geriatrics. no compassion.
