Office and Insurance
Worse Dr experience! Not only is the Doctor impossible to reach, but the office didn't tell me they were out of network, found out from the bill I received 2 months later. Angry that I didn't double check but they were recommended by another doctor who said he was in network. Not only did I have to pay over $500 for 2 doctor visits one that lasted about 5 minutes after waiting for an hour. But he read the results of my MRI like a death sentence and gave no plan for recovery. My advice is DO NOT SEE this far too busy doctor who has a poorly run office!

Poorly run office. DOESN'T ANSWER PHONE MESSAGES.
Poorly run office. Don?t answer phone messages. Excessive wait times before seeing doctor I wanted to make an appointment to talk about a recent lab test he ordered. Their record of answering phone calls is very bad. I kept a log of the last 3 messages, still no reply. Last time, I had to go into the office to make an appointment be prepared to wait about an hour extra to see the doctor. They do poor Scheduling. Apparently, he needs more time per appointment and doesn*t schedule for it. I've waited several hours at one appointment. I checked my watch. Very disrespectful of my time! Not a doctor that I trust anymoreFebruary 14, 2024

Cancel, Cancel, Cancel
I had surgery scheduled twice with Dr Gill. First time, it was not so bad for the cancel. I was given enough time to notify my family, work and all others involved. The second time I was cancelled, I was given 4 days ahead of the surgery date and given no reason. I had time scheduled off from employment and everything inline for the surgery and recovery. I even went into Dr Gills' office to get answers. Still as of this review being written, I have not heard from Dr Gill. His staff, (Laura) was no help and no follow through either. You can find a better Doctor and staff. I am glad this happened Definitely a blessing in disguise! I have found a better qualified doctor. My new doctor said the only time he has had to cancel a surgery was for a bomb scare! I think that is justified.

Great Doctor
Dr Gill really took the time to find out the issues I had as I am a cancer survivor with a lot of complications. He indicated the surgery to my back would potentially work 50/50 and in the end I feel it was a 80% success. I would recommend him to anyone.

I chose one star because 0 stars was not a choice. I have had the absolute worst experience with a doctor in my whole life which is quite a lot of years. Dr Gill would not share the results of an MRI and a PET scan with me, the patient, instead asking his receptionist to call me with the diagnosis. (By the way--The receptionist is a gem of a person.) I would clarify this behavior as unprofessional but worse than that it was unethical as a physician. He did, however, refer me to a Dr at UCLA. That is the only good thing I can share.

Dr Gill has been taking care of me and my back issues for a couple of months now! I have seen other neurosurgeons regarding my back issues but none of them compared to Dr.Gill! He’s super caring and sympathetic towards his patients medical needs! If it comes down to myself needing surgery I wouldn’t trust anyone but Dr. Gill! Truly is the best!
