Dr. Amandeep Kaur, DO

I am being treated for recurring c. diff symptoms by Dr. Kuar. I cannot go to work until my symptoms are gone. Google the symptoms of c. diff if you’re curious. My school requires a note for absence of three days. Obviously I can’t return if I’m having symptoms hourly for days. Her receptionist spoke to me like a child playing hooky when I called for a note for work. I’m a fifty two year old woman. My school is private and I teach three days a week, they offer no sick days paid to part time staff. This Dr. is literally putting my job at risk. No understanding for what people need. No compassion at all.

On several occasions my significant other was scheduled for an endoscopic,and a Colonoscopic procedure in the same time frame ??. There has been several occasions of mismanagement of surgical scheduling procedures and no follow up with the patient. There seems to be a lack of concern about communication with the patient and information vital to their appropriate timing,scheduled date ?? and time.I feel that The physician is unaware of delegated staff failing to do their designated role in the process of Caring about and for Dr.Kaurs,Patients. This directly reflects on the Physician being( it seems) unaware of these failures.Bringing this to her direct attention may affect a necessary change in personnel or at the very least a counseling session on job description and responsibilities ??. And lastly I might add one other suggestion Do away with the Robotic answering device which eliminates the need for contact with a real person but,doesn't ever replace the empathetic ability of a real person answering the phone and responding to patients needs whatever that might be.

I know that doctors sometimes run behind schedule. I waited for this doctor for an hour and a half and when she finally saw me she did not apologize for being behind. She spent a total of 7 minutes with me. That says a lot about her character. Moving on.

Dr. Kaur is great, she takes the time to listen to everything going on with you and explains it in detail. She's very compassionate in what she does and is very thorough in her visits.
