Excellent Physician
I had a thumb injury that wouldn’t stop bleeding so I went to the er panicked. She was excellent, put me at ease and talked me through what she was going to do. Swiftly took care of cauterizing the wounds and talked me through the pain. Her good bedside manner just reassured me that applying to only do medical schools was the right choice for me.

Quick and accurate diagnosis of a heart condition while in the ER. Took the time to listen to my questions and provide follow up information.

went TO ER with a perirectal abscess. per my primary cares instructions wet to get it drained. It was located on my bottom. she did a look and exclaimed that it was too hard and could not be drained. The pain level was above broken bones clicking. I know have had my share of them and am no stranger to pain.she then tried to drain it . numbing shot followed by an attempt to drain .was no wait for numbing shot to work just drove right in less than i minuet then told me all i see is cellulite .GUESS THIS IS HER WAY OF SAYING YOU ARE FAT. she then told me she was giving me antibiotics and a scrip for pain. Then the nurse showed up tossed paper work at me and said you can leave when you are ready. I slowly hobbled back to the entrance in more pain than when i showed up.humiliated in pain and still really sick . the next day i had to return to ER this time they actually did a work up of my condition.the admitting physician face turned whit with fear when i disclosed that no scan or blood wo

Dr. Verdeyen treated my son in the ER on Christmas Day. He had gotten a really bad skin infection, and didn't know what he should do about it. He's always had eczema. I knew when I saw his skin that he needed urgent medical care right away. She gave him just the right medicines, and also suggested a remedy for getting his skin back to normal as quickly as possible. The treatment worked great! His skin was back to normal in just a few days. I am so grateful to Dr. Verdeyen for her excellent care of my son! A doctor that works in the ER on Christmas Day is a special kind of doctor, I think.

Beware of this doctor. I visited the Baylor Emergency Medical Center at Trophy Club on April 4, 2017. She changed my medication and then incorrectly diagnosed my condition. Additionally she was not in my PPO and charged $2,261 for a very small amount of her time.
