Rude, very condescending , rushes you and does not like to take time to address concerns or answer questions you have about your Health condition. Waste of money

Everyone needs to know....
For the first time in my 50 yrs i started to have a health problem that required me being sent to Amanda McConnell. She is extremely rude, arrogant, & condescending. She seems to lack the very basic neuro knowledge. I have to question how she's even considered a neurologist.Listen to the other reviews closely when they say how rude, inconsiderate and condescending she is. She made me feel worthless like i was wasting her time and basically called me a liar. My entire 15 mins with her were spent feeling like i needed to defend myself. Anything more complicated than heaaaches she is not interested and even said several times how she'd have to ' read up' on my problem that ANY real neurologist should already know about. Ive NEVER left a Dr. feeling so insulted and unheard in my life. I love Holzer but this woman is making me question my care there if they do not see a problem with her. Her bad reviews speak volumes.

Would not recommend for a head injury. Felt she was rude and made us feel like we were wasting her time. Offered no help for what we was seen for. Especially don’t go to her if you are through Workman’s Comp.

I had an unpleasant experience with her. I do NOT like writing bad reviews about a Doctor but I needed to forewarn patients. She was very rude , unprofessional, BUT when it dawned on her I had a medical background she stopped saying things. Her Nurses and receptionists are nice but I can NOT say that about her. I did NOT want to give her one star.

I felt miss understood & treated like I was crazy about my symptoms & pain I in 24/7. I felt she more worried about asking questions about my childhood and etc than what I was there for which was neurology probs not mental health and counseling for childhood when I in my 30s. Then I felt she uneducated in my diease that is a rare disorder & not very friendly comforting at apt & nurse so rude callin me back and in office I felt judge and treated unfairly to only have to pay 20% of my bill ??

Dr McConnell was the first doctor that took time to investigate my issues and truly got to the source of my complaints. She ordered the appropriate tests and took time to explain them. I enjoy seeing her. I would recommend her to anyone.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. McConnell?
Dr. McConnell misrepresents herself as both an M.D. (see the sign on her door and as a board certified neurologist. She is neither. Instead of allowing her patient to explain their symptoms, she resorts to asking canned questions. She appears unqualified to handle more difficult cases and seems eager to leave the room when things get rough.
