will be finding another PCP
I am writing this for my elderly mother. She is very dissatisfied with the lack of care and any kind of concern shown by Dr. Cox. It has been a couple years since my mom has had an appointment with Dr. Cox and we were just notified that my mother will not be seeing her Primary Care physician, but a physicians assist. What good is having a PCP if you never see them? If you are always passed on to someone else? Maybe this is a U of M medicine problem across the board and not just a problem with this doctor, but given that my mom has felt uncared for in general by this doctor we will be making a switch soon anyway. Very dissatisfied with the whole experience.

She knows her stuff but her demeanor is a bit off putting. Almost condescending. Lacks empathy.

ive been seeing dr cox for years and have always felt unsatisfied and un heard but i figured maybe she knows more then i do so its fine. i have finally decided i need a doctor who cares, hears and follows through with thorough care. ive had many issues through out the years that i think could have been avoided had there been better follow ups and testing as well as explanations
