Dr. Aman Prasad, MD

I had seen a dermatologist in Lake City who we found out was not board certified & he wanted to do a punch biopsy of suspected cyst near my temple. He had also prescribed excessive 4,000 mg antibiotics for 10 days prior to biopsy. Neither myself nor my wife was comfortable with that doctor. We saw Dr. Aman Prasad 29 Jan 2024 who took the time to thoroughly explain that the cyst or whatever else it could possibly be needed to be completely removed. He stated it was very near an artery and that a plastic surgeon needed to remove it. He referred us to an in network provider’s office and they will call us at home in the next few days to set up the surgery. Dr. Arman Prasad was very knowledgeable and put me & my wife at ease. He took ownership and stated if I was not contacted shortly by the surgeon’s office that I should call his office back and he would take care of it. Very pleased with this doctor and would not hesitate to see him again.
