Dr. Alyson Kaplan, MD

Dr Kaplan seems like a fine doc and had good clinical input. Her office staff at AOC Physicians take so long to respond to requests that getting care from her is too difficult. Three day turn around time on call backs or more, lacking clinical notes in the portal. I would suggest going elsewhere if time is a consideration to your care.

I had tube in my ear from another ENT. It fell out and left a hole in the eardrum. The Dr sent me to a surgeon in his group. The surgeon said to leave the hole in the ear drum as I had allergies. I was miserable. Couldn't tell the direction of sound and my days as a music lover were over. It hurt to be near even medium loud sounds like the organ in Church or my stereo. I was sad and just about gave up on my love of music, when my wife introduced me to Alyson Kaplan, MD who she had visited. Dr Kaplan listened to my issues, gave me hope and completed the ear drum patch surgery. After a month, hearing in my left ear was much better. And after 10 weeks the patch was totally successful and my left ear hearing was amazingly improved. Only a small 500Hz dip showed up on the left ear hearing test compared to my right ear. Compare that with little hearing in the left ear before surgery. I am so happy. Dr Kaplan is such a blessing! I can't thank her enough!
