Her way or the highway
Abandoned me while in the middle of a bipolar episode. She also banned me from outpatient services to help manage my episodes/ medications. Left me high and dry after staying sober for nearly a year. She fired me for drinking but took me on as a patient knowing my history with alcohol. She offered no referrals to rehabilitation places.. she gave me two months to quit or else. I can't even seek help at the one hospital with a different doctor because of her. It feels like a personal vendetta she has against me or something. That's not okay.

Dr. Brown in an excellent, experienced psychiatrist. She is 100% committed to meeting each patients individuals needs and working to find holistic solutions. She is also excellent at explaining helathcare decisions to patients so they are able to be fully informed. She is also a lovely, welcoming person. (She did recently switch to private practice, however the secretaries at her old practice were awful and caused tons of scheduling issues that are now resolved)

Ignored
I was very excited to be seeing Dr.Brown within are first appointment. She was very nice, open, and seemed like she cared about me getting the help I needed. This all took a quick turn to when I missed two appointments that were online and I was never notified of. I genuinely never even knew the appointments were made. I tried to express this but was already dropped from her practice before a personal explanation from Dr.Brown. I have then been struggling with moving and losing a family member. With all this going on I haven’t had time to be set up with a new Dr nor see it reasonable since I’ll be moving in a couple weeks anyways. Dr.brown has refused to refill my ADHD medication and has made it completely impossible for me to be regular on my medication due to me constantly failing at receiving my perception refills. She is aware I’m an epileptic and shouldn’t be experiencing irregularity in my daily medication

After finding out the proper meds & therapy, I have NOT had to see a psychiatrist 4 yrs!!! A WONDERFUL woman ans Dr! Im so very grateful! Mary Grice
