Dr. Alphonse Zieman, MD

Took 17yr old daughter in for surgery clearance and he found a murmur that we didn’t know she had. He listened to carotids which no other Dr has ever done. He’s extremely thorough from head to toe. We were cleared for surgery after an Echocardiogram. Highly recommend him.

Dr Zieman has been my primary care physician for many years. I think that some of the reviewers on this site do not understand his personality, which is a no nonsense approach. He sometimes comes at your problem from a different perspective, which could be misread as not listening to a patient's problem. But this could also be the patient insisting on his own self diagnosis. I have never been rushed out of his office and at times he even tells me a joke-not dirty. At times he may seem brusque but that does not mean he is rushing you out of his office. It simply means he is trying to get to the crux of your problem. I highly recommend Doctor Zieman.

Been with Dr. Zieman over 20 yrs. He takes all the time needed to answer questions. Explains exactly what you need to know, about what's wrong. Found suspected breast cancer, in remission now. Found wrong med. prescribed by specialist that I was highly allergic to. Has successfully treated numerous ailments for me and my family. Great staff. Nurse Cathy recognized stroke symptom. I went to ER. Caught in time. Nurses highly qualified.

Dr. Zieman is very knowledgeable in medicine. On my first visit, he reviewed all old lab tests and prescriptions. He also scheduled on my behalf the recommended procedures such as Colonoscopy. He even asked about medical power of attorney so that he would have the information in the future. The office staff was very helpful and they called and told me the lab results after a new test. I'd highly recommend Dr. Zieman to anyone looking for a caring physician.

Has to be the most apathetic doctors I have met. I told him I was depressed and he showed zero interest in treating me. Told me to have a sleep test done after I repeatedly told him I sleep fine and feel well-rested after waking. He is rude and disinterested.

My entire family has been patients of Dr. Zieman for over 20 years. He is one of the most caring and dedicated individuals I have ever known. Never to busy to answer my questions or take the time to explain his opinions or concerns with us. But the most important asset of all is the feeling that he cares about the whole person.

I went in with a sinus infection and I was asked a lot of different question not even related to my sinuses. He made it clear that he did not think I should be treat with my other Rx. Never once did he ask why I had other labs done. He never once asked how I was feeling. He stated that I should take a sleep test when I told him that I did not have a sleep issue, but that is what he is claiming with my small mouth and puffy face. Will not be returning because he has grievance with other doc
