I have known Dr. Rho for 15 years and he is an exceptional doctor. Never rushes you, answers your questions and has a great bedside manner. I moved away from the area for 5 years and recently returned to Princeton. I am glad that Dr. Rho is my physician.

Rude and unprofessional behavior with family membe
Dr. Rho and his nurse were both very rude and unprofessional with my family member when my family member tried to voice concerns about the care he had received. I had been treated by Dr. Rho previously and after this unprofessional behavior I will be finding another doctor. Patients should be treated respectfully.

I had an unusual benign large liquid filled cyst located between all the organs and the back muscle wall, and pressed mightily on the duodenum, transverse colon and stomach. Functioning+eating in evening was painfully debilitating, even impossible as organs and the cyst both needed to occupy the same space. I also became constipated, as a result. I could not eat more than a small portion at once. I expected Dr. Rho to check out the usual gastrointestinal difficulties, and if there were not any of these, to refer me to a surgeon. So, I didn't have any of the usual gastro problems. My problem was solely the cyst. Dr. Rho recommended the following: change laxative, only eat partial meals, and to NOT consider surgery on the growing cyst. I ignored this. A great surgeon cured me. We 1st aspirated part of cyst, but it refilled over time, and then tried surgery, which 100% fast permanently solved ALL problems! I would still be in dire nightly distress had I followed Rho's wrong advice.

Dr. Rho is good. However his office staff are RUDE and condescending. If you have or had Medicaid in this time of pandemic, even if you have another full primary insurance, they REFUSE to see you and treat you like youre going to steal the pen off the desk and refuse to reply to emails. SHADY and pointless - find another office where all the staff care!

Worst experience with any doctor ever! Totally lacking empathy. Rude and uncaring. Practice also failed to follow-up, staff also lacking required professionalism and empathy. Definitely would NOT recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Rho for years and highly recommend him. He is not only extremely knowledgeable, but, also very kind, caring and compassionate. He always put you at ease, takes his time with you and makes you feel as if you are his only patient. He listens with interest to any concerns and answers any questions you may have, patiently. In this fast paced world where everything is so rushed, it is so rare, if not nearly impossible, to find a doctor that possesses all of the wonderful qualities that Dr. Rho has. I feel beyond blessed to have him on my health care team. It is so reassuring for me to know that I am not only in good hands professionally, but also in the hands of a doctor who is so caring, kind and compassionate.

Dr. Rho is absolutely the best. He took an hour with me on my first visit and explained my condition and listened to all my concerns. He was gentle and very caring while doing an exam. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. I will recommend him to anyone needing a GI doctor. At a follow up visit he performed a colonscopy and was again gentle, kind and took his time. His nurse Cheri is wonderful and the entire office staff couldn't have been any nicer. This is the place to go with GI issues.

EXTREMELY disappointed with my attempt to schedule a routine colonoscopy with Dr. Rho and his office. Two days before my procedure, their office called to say they had to reschedule my appt and couldn't even promise me my original start time of 6:30 a.m. - first procedure of the day, because mine was being done in the hospital. We knew this 2 weeks ago when their nurse sent me the paperwork! All the preparations I made for this appt were cancelled, I couldn't reschedule to following week.

A truly excellent doctor. Extremely polite, courteous, patient, and obviously quite competent and knowledgeable, including about the current state of the scientific literature regarding my condition. Spent as much time with me as I wanted and went into detail about his clinical hypotheses about the (rare) disease I have. He even offered additional time if I had more questions. I have been searching far and wide for a gastroenterologist like Dr. Rho.
