Avoid this doctor!
Absolutely awful, she should stick to fixing teeth, not being an emergency doctor. I came in with very sharp pain in the upper part of my leg. She diagnosed it as IT band problem, sent me to PT. I can hardly walk, can't lift my leg. GP said it's associated with the spine, that makes more sense. Her attitude was not patient friendly at all. How can they employ a dentist in an emergency room?'

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Trop in the ED. She came in, was very friendly and forward with what was happening. I was surprised with how many times I actually saw her as I know I was not the only patient there. I appreciated how attentive she was when I had questions or concerns. Overall, I had a great experience with Dr. Trop and would be happy if she was my doctor, if I have to go to the ED again.

ER visit
Apathetic, rude. Didn’t look me in the eyes one singular time. Allowed EKG tech to disrespect me. She treated me like human garbage. It’s doctors like her that hurt people. She clearly hates her job and needs to move on.

Went In to the ER with broken ribs. I was told I would be given a CT scan due to the severity to which I said ok. 2 additional CT scans were ordered so 3 in total. The doctor never discussed that I would be getting 3 CT scans or even what her concerns were that led her to order them. I felt this was very unprofessional and down right rude since I discussed with her that i was uninsured and was worried about costs.

I saw her in the ER in CO Springs, could hardly breath. Told her I had just gotten over really bad cold a few weeks prior, she said it looked like I had developed bronchitis and antibiotics would NOT help. Luckily had an appt. 2 days later to get physical at my regular doctor. He also said I had bronchitis and IMMEDIATELY prescribed antibiotics which took care of the condition in days. Was on my way to pneumonia had I listened to her. I still have to pay her bill.
