Thorough and Helpful Imaging Report
Although I did not meet Dr. Tonkin, her report on my abdominal CT scan was incredibly thorough. She was not only able to accurately diagnose a life threatening small bowel obstruction, but also reported thoroughly on the other structures of my abdomen unrelated to the emergency I had been referred for. In comparison to a report from another radiologist just 6 months prior, her report indicated to me a much higher level of methodical analysis-even reporting things that were evident in the prior CT scan that had not been reported by the previous radiologist. It is hard to compare radiologists for the typical patient, and I am not even sure if we have a choice of radiologists when imaging is ordered! But, if I am ever seeking a second opinion on imaging, I will seek out Dr. Tonkin. Many thanks to her.
