Appointments too rushed
Does not get back to you with test results. Is out of office too often. No patient profile, just basic phone call from assistant regarding blood tests.

Very mixed feelings; Stated she had never had a patient previously that had a stoma, urostomy. Then had never heard of Moffitt Cancer, a top rated cancer center! Then, apparently she does not believe in a patient portal, one has to request copies of results from her office if the patient wants to have a readily available record.

She listened to my concerns and quickly referred me to physical therapy. I asked more questions regarding detoxing from heavy metals and wanted to know more about parasites. She didn’t have much to say about either topics.

Treats you like a hazmat incident.
(August 2023) I have seen Dr Simms three times and each time she has been covered up like I'm a walking hazardous materials incident. Her hair and face are covered and I have no idea what she even looks like. I'm a very healthy person so there's no need for her to behave this way. She is rushed and acts like it's a bother for her to see you. I chose her because of her stellar reviews from Colorado. Something has happened since her move because she's not the caring physician she once was.Add to that. She has zero online presence. You can't get your labs on-line or even emailed to you. There's no secure web portal and if you want to look at your lab results you have to go in and have them printed out. Allison needs to realize that this is 2023, not 1993!I won't be going back.

First, it's summer of 2023, take that face diaper off so your patients can see your face and understand you. She's one of the only doctors left still buying into that mask thing. Second, she's a typical twenty-first century doctor. Hurry up and get you in and out. She's makes her whole diagnosis based on a mediocre blood sample. I have never been to a doctor such as her, I probably won't be going back.

I am so glad that Dr. Simms is my primary care physician. She is very concerned for my overall well being and I like the fact that she just doe snot dish out prescriptions to hide issues. She looks into what is the underlying cause and she treats me in this manner. I feel very comfortable with her as I know that she is sincere and listens to me as I describe the nature of my visit. I am never rushed when I see her.

After searching for a new primary care doctor in 2018, I located Dr. Simms and have been extremely pleased with her. She takes time to listen, have never felt as if I were on a conveyor belt and truly appreciate promptness of replies via the Health Portal. I would definitely recommend her and hope to continue a long-term healthcare relationship with her.
