Look elsewhere. You can do better.
Telehealth
My wife was Dr. Schulmans patient for 4 months in 2023 and Dr. Schulman never engaged her/ghosted her for 4 months. No direct communication and no appointments. My wife had acute chronic pancreatitis and only had 3 or 4 virtual visits with a PA. Moreover, while my wife was in crisis mode, the U of M team never gave my wife a dietary plan of any kind - feeding tube or anything else. 90% of my portal communications fell on deaf ears and were never answered by Dr. Schumann. If you are in need of a good GI doctor that is willing to engage the patient look elsewhere.
