A Must to Avoid
While a patient on the 10A ward of the Buffalo VA hospital, I had the great misfortune of being acquainted with a Dr. Allison McGuerty. In all the fifty plus years I have been coming to the Buffalo VA, I have never encountered a worse physician. That this doctor is still employed by the Buffalo VA shows me that the hospital has a high tolerance for very marginal physicians. While I was spinning out of control on the 10A ward, at no time did Dr. McGuerty ask me how I was faring. It was as if I and the other patients on the ward were annoying inconveniences. This 'doctor' summarily decided to discontinue my use of a sedative that I had been successfully taking for approximately thirty years. The withdrawal was horrifying. This was an act of cruelty committed by someone who does not care about her patients’ welfare. This doctor is arrogant, dismissive of the suffering of others, power hungry, and condescending. In all, a terrible doctor and a worse human being.

Horrible Doctor
This 'Doctor' spent 5 minutes with my husband and told him he did not have PTSD. After 2 other doctors told him he did. He came to the VA hospital for help but instead she made him feel worse. She is the worse doctor and should have her medical license pulled and I will not stop until it is. She is not helping people she is hurting them. She works with Veterans who has been to a combat zone she has no military experience letting them 'to just get over what he saw.' How dare she. Run if they assign her to you or if you go and she is there. She will not help you and should not be in this field. First do no harm. She caused a lot of harm.

Does not care for patients needs. She needs to care more for patients and to not treat them all the same way. If someone comes to you for help you should help them and not tell them "to bad"
