I want to thank you Dr. Allison Chen's team. My right cataract surgery went smoothly, it was a painless surgery, and I am very happy since I was not able to see for almost a one whole year. Rhonda, the scheduler, was very on top of her things to make sure my pre-op surgery, and post-op appointment were scheduleD appropriately. On the day of surgery, the registration and nursing staff was very nice and helpful. My surgery was very on time. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Dr. Chen. Through my experience, I know she truly cares for her patient. Dr. Chen had worked around her schedule to compensate the completion of my cataract surgery this year due to insurance issues. I also lived about 4 hours away from Houston, Dr. Chen knows this - so she was able to change her schedule so that I didn't have to drive back and forth too many times. Again, THANK YOU DR. CHEN!

I am so grateful to have met Dr. Chen. My 14 year old daughter has keratoconus and we had been bouncing around providers to find treatment until we finally found Dr. Chen. My daughter was initially apprehensive prior to the visit, but Dr. Chen’s warm personality put my daughter at ease, and the crosslinking procedure went smoothly for both eyes. My daughter’s vision has improved significantly after the procedure and hard contact lenses. Thank you for making a tremendous impact on my little girl’s life.

I came to Dr. Chen dealing with a corneal dystrophy - not as bad as cataracts, but the irregularities on my cornea made it difficult to get an effective prescription for my eyeglasses. Dr. Chen saw me through every step of the process with enthusiasm, kindness, and clear communication. When the first, least invasive solution (hard contacts) didn't work out, she already had a Plan B in place, and we moved on to a short, outpatient corneal surgery. I can already read without my glasses and my corneas are clear again! I can't thank Dr. Chen enough for her efforts through the entire process. I was especially grateful that she moved up the date on my left eye surgery to accommodate her departure to a new practice in Texas. I'll really miss her - our loss is Texas's gain! She was a star in the Kaiser ophthalmology department!

During covid, I decided I didn't want to keep wearing contacts since I am a nurse and didn't want to keep touching my eyes. I saw Dr. Chen per the recommendation of my general eye doctor. Dr. Chen did a thorough evaluation of my eyes with multiple tests and screenings, and guided me through every step of the way. I decided to choose PRK surgery, and my results are incredible - I now don't have to wear glasses or contacts anymore and feel like a new person. Thank you, Dr. Chen!

I couldn't see well and didn't go to an eye doctor for a long time because of covid. I went to Dr Chen and she told me that my cataracts got worse. After she did cataract surgery my vision is perfect. My eyes had astigmatism and she helped me choose a special lens to help correct for the astgmatism.
