Saw for shoulder pain related to nerve pinch. Received an injection on shoulder blade. Very gentle, no pain.

Saw the Doctor at scheduled appointment time. A rare thing nowadays. He was professional and came up with a preliminary diagnosis and ordered another test to verify.

Excellent Dr, Tafel listens and examines as well as evaluates the patient. He does not order unnecessary tests and performs his procedures with minimal discomfort.I highly recommend him.

Trying to get back to work, visited him for 5 months to no avail.

He seems to be a good doctor. He gave me a few options for my pain but none worked. I went there for months and had no progress. He does not provide virtual appointments for tests results of any kind. At this location the desk staff do not seem very preoccupied with the patient wellbeing as they just ask you to sign in and wait. No effort has been made to give me my results unless I walk into the building. Payment is not my issue, my issue is the lack of communication .

I have severe osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, osteopenia, and fibromyalgia. I've had two compression fractures, L1 & L4, L Knee replaced -twice, & currently need a R Reverse Shoulder Replacement. A lot of pain for too many years. My most recent encounter is agonizing pain in my lower back and L buttock. I went to the ER. Together with my rheumatologist and regular Dr. I was referred to Pain Management - one Dr. Tafel. So I broke down and made an appt. - 1/16/2023. So I was there from 1PM til after 3 PM and finally walked out crying in pain & frustration. There was no compassion, no "Pain Reduction" plan, just a lot of prep by three others before I could see, "The Doctor". After about a 4 minute visit, "The Doctor" briefly mentioned an old tailbone injury and confirms an MRI is in order. If you're thinking you might benefit from pain medication, don't go there because they wouldn't prescribe for me a 74 yr old sick grandmother. . Production Line.

Was with his AA. She is very good and thorough Most all the staff is great. Henry an Aaron (xray tech) were excellent and very caring Receptionists could be more patient and understanding. Found two very abrupt.

Doctor Tafel is fantastic. He has superb bedside manners . He is very caring and understands how to control pain levels. He does not over prescribe naturally but he does not under prescribe either. He understands your pain levels and prescribes the correct amount. When he gets you dialed in, its perfect. Thank you Dc Tafel, it's been a long road but we are seeing it through together.

Reviewed treatment I received thoroughly, and did a physical exam. Plan for more care if needed. Reviewed as well. As I am a nurse, I knew that. He definitely covered everything very well. Finally I have relief from my back pain.

Is a excellent doctor

The staff, especially Kaylee, were awesome. They made me comfortable and explained my procedure. Dr. Tafel is wonderful!! He listens and was the most caring doctor I’ve seen. I had my injection for my pain and I’m sitting at home with no pain in just 5 hours. I would recommend him !!

This was my first visit. He was knowledgeable and very thorough. He asked questions and listened to my answers. He takes a conservative approach which I appreciated.

Dr. Tafel and the staff listen and pay attention. He was very professional, and I felt like I was his only patient.

Dr. Tafel was excellent with great personality, no non-sense skills, very professional and I would highly recommend him.

Dr Tafel has helped me with pain management for several years. I have had two shots in my lower back that worked. Now I have bursitis and need a shot and Physical Therapy. Katie, his PA, was most helpful with my first visit about need of a hip MRI. Nice office staff, too.

Doctor was a great listener and very thorough in communicating the plan and possible other plans to get good outcome. Would highly recommend!

Excellent appointment. Have your info available for a fast thorough appointment. Took history, took X-rays, provided a comprehensive assessment of problem, and a sophisticated back brace for support and pain relief. Staff was great.
