Dr. Allan Shulkin, MD

Dr. Shulkin will listen to every word you say and gives his best advice. He is not one of these in and out doctors and will talk to you about your condition as long as it takes. No other doctor has done that with me. He is the best doctor I have had in 73 years.

Three years ago, I was stricken with a devastating case of COVID-19, which caused me to lapse into a prolonged coma and lose 100 pounds, paralyzed from the chest down. My wife was turned down repeatedly by several other doctors to treat me. I was a lost cause. Under Dr.Shulin's care, I've gained most of my weight back, and if I'm careful, I can stand again.

Simply put, Dr Shulkin is the finest Doctor I have ever seen in my 60 years of life. He will work relentlessly to help you get well, and he genuinely wants to see his patients have a good quality of life.He saved my Grandmother who coded in the ER in 1991 and she lived another 10 years thanks to his medical miracle for our family. Today, I am now sick after nearly dying from Covid Delta in Oct 2021 and suffer severe Long Covid. So far he is the ONLY Doctor who understands my suffering, and works so hard to help me get well. When I have needed him late at night for a medical issue, he always calls quickly and is so kind on the phone “Thank You Dr Shulkin For All You Do To Help Me Today. Our Family Loves You For The Kind Doctor You Are.”

Waited for an hour to see the doctor. However, he spent an hour and a half with me. I've always said that I don't mind the waiting as long as the doctor spends the same amount of time with me. He does and then some. Very thorough. I had difficulty in getting my medical records transferred to Dr. Shulkin's office which necessitated Kelly following up several times. She couldn't have been more pleasant, professional and patient on the telephone and even more so in person. NEVER rude, unpleasant or unprofessional. The same holds true for Sylvia. She too went about her duties in a very professional and pleasant manner. I would unequivocally recommend them for your medical needs.

Amazing doctor. He is an example for an excellent doctor. I am Grateful for everything that he has done to save my mom life . Every patient need doctor like him to feel brave and fighting the disease. God Bless Him

Dr. Shulkin is absolutely the best , most compassionate and caring doctor I have ever been to. He saved my life when I had a fungus in my lungs. Years later he found a tumor in my lung that turned out to be melanoma. So I tell him he has saved my life 2 times, he always says, no, we did it. Very humble man who listens to you without rushing! We love him and highly reccomend him .

I've been a patient of Dr. Shulkin's now for several years. Between Dr. Shulkin and Dr. Sugarman we were able to get to the bottom of why I had recurring episodes of pneumonia, that was in 2016. Since then Dr. Shulkin has seen me on a 6 month basis and I tell him often "you need to outlive me". He's an incredible Dr and human being. Truly cares deeply for his patients.

I've never met a more caring or approachable doctor that Dr. Schulkin. He listens to you and talks to you, not at you. He is easily accessible during off hours which is unheard of in this day and age. After suffering for years with a bronchial condition that was increasingly getting worse but other doctors never gave a clear diagnosis to, I was finally sent to Dr. Schulkin who said I had a clear case of bronchiectasis which is incurable but usually treatable. He has diligently worked with me to at least finally give me some quality of life. I truly believe had I not found him that I would not be here today.I have to travel and have never had to wait very long to see him. I highly recommend this outstanding gentleman and have nothing but accolades to say about him. That said I will say that the woman at his front desk is very unfriendly, has a very sharp tongue, and just generally hateful. Knowing how kind the doctor is I am sure he is unaware how that woman approaches his patients.

Dr Shulkin is a fine doctor and listens to you. I had multiple procedures for my asthma. I ended up hospitalized after my third procedure with an asthma flareup. Dr Shulkin arrives when you are ready to sleep for a few hours so just be aware that what little sleep you get is further diminished by his late arrival. Dr Shulkin's staff is the disappointment. The receptionist, Kelly, is rude and defensive. The medical assistant, Silvia, is helpful but not customer focused.

Dr.Allan Shulkin is a wonderful doctor;caring, patient,attentive and never rushes you. Now his receptionist; that's one rude woman,thankfully she's not the Dr.

The moment, Dr. Shulkin walked to the room and greet you, you already feel calm and better. He talks to you, listenes everything, that worries you. I know, I am in good hands with Dr.Shulkin. I trust him, and recommend Dr.Shulkin to my family and friends! The staff in his office absolutely wonderful! Thank you very much!

He saved my life, gave me back ability to breathe normally, have energy, live life! Dr. Shulkin made time to see me immediately through a referral from a colleague with whom I was meeting, admitted me to hospital instantly, ran surgical tests, then did surgery, all within 24 hours and I was on my home 200 miles away.
