Great outcome of knee replacement
Dr. Hunt did a knee replacement for me. When I first saw him, he was professional and showed interested in my situation. My knee came out just perfect. In 3 days I could squat low enough to pick up my 4 pound chihuahuas! If I ever need another orthopedic surgery I will go to him.

He works wonders
Without hesitation and with great enthusiasm I’d recommend Dr. Hunt for any of your knee injury needs. After winning the IBJJF Masters Worlds in 2022 I tore my left meniscus and LCL and I thought my competition days were done. So many people suggested that I just get it removed so I could be back in a few weeks and deal with the knee replacement in a few years. Dr Hunt took the extra step and said that we could repair it and although it would take longer, I’d be back to competing for many many years. Well, I’m 5 months post surgery and back to training full time, and I have complete mobility and I’m pain free. He works wonders.

Arthroscopy, shoulder surgery
Very friendly. Explains what to expect, shows you what he see's on your MRI and X-rays. Gives you all your options and explains them in detail. Accepts any questions you have. Follows up after surgery to check your status. I HIGHLY recommend him. His nurse Sarah, is awesome as well. Any questions or concerns you have, she gives you answers promptly.

No way. Never. Go anywhere else
I have to say I am extremely disappointed in how my wife’s knee replacement surgery and follow up was handled by Dr. Hunt and his PA, Nick. What happened on his watch was a lifestyle game-changer and he was right in the middle of it. Because of asthma and age, my wife was a candidate for blood thinners but she not receive them. 8 days after surgery, an ultrasound determined she can multiple blood clots in her left leg, one that was free forming and that later migrated to her lungs. She was admitted into the hospital for two nights and three days. Her knee replacement has been severely impaired by the blood clots and her walking is still not close to where it needs to be. I would never in a thousand years recommend this doctor to anyone. No way. Never. Go anywhere else. All this borders on criminal negligence.

I had been having shoulder pain for over 20 years from a volleyball injury. Many years of pain. No one ever really found anything wrong with my shoulder... finally diagnosed with complete tear, partial tear & bone spur. I’m about 2.5 years post surgery & no pain. Full range of motion back. Dr. Hunt is an angel.

I visited Dr. Hunt at TCO to have an injection in my knee. Dr. Hunt always discusses the condition of my knee and provides me with options should my condition change. He has kept me working and as pain free as possible considering my knee is bone on bone.

I just had my second total knee replacement by Dr. Hunt. It was a great experience. The care of the staff at TCO and Abbott Northwestern Hospital is second to none. I don't recommend having a knee replacement but if you need to please go see Dr. Hunt at TCO. You won't be disappointed!

I first met Dr Hunt in the early 1990s when he treated by son and daughter for knee injuries during their high school and college years. Recently I had a shoulder injury and hoped Dr Hunt would help me. The consultation was handled just as professionally as always. after testing, etc I agreed to have him repair my rotator cuff injury and repair newly discovered OA bone damage in the same area. Since my other shoulder had a tendon tear from 20+ years ago and always painful, I asked Dr Hunt for his opinion. After testing, etc, we both agreed that the tendon tear had gotten larger and OA bone damage was evident. It has been about 5 weeks since the second shoulder surgery. My neck is finally pain free! My shoulders are both healing nicely and getting stronger due to Dr Hunt's guideance and ongoing Physical Therapy at TCO. Many thanks to the TCO Ortheopedic teams and I am grateful for them making me feel a part of my own treatment and recovery!

just a visit to discuss diagnosis/options about my hip. Dr. Hunt was not dismissive, nor did he leave me only one option. He has allowed me to make my own decisions in my own time. I felt much less nervous after meeting him. Looks like surgery soon, and i feel confident having Dr. Hunt perform that surgery.
