Dr. Chircus has the worst bedside manner of any physician that I have had in all of my 63 years. He was grumpy and didn't introduce himself. He was very judgmental. He cut me off several times, including when I was initially telling him my health concerns. The first time he spoke, he asked if I was on any anti-anxiety medications in a gruff manner. I was not there for anxiety, although I felt anxious, intimidated, and disrespected in his presence. He kept focusing on stating that he was not going to give me any antibiotics, when that is not what I was asking for at all. My main reason for coming to his urgent care facility was to get a rapid COVID test. I kept telling the other clinicians that I did not want him to come back into the room, and he continued to do so. I saw a very nice physician's assistant in-between seeing him, so I don't know why I had to see him, too. The medical assistant who took my cultures was very kind and thorough. Front desk staff person very kind.

He was the attending doctor at a urgent care facility. He walked in and didn’t even say his name or hello. He just asked “do you want to do your own vaginal swab”. Keep in mind I have no history/rapport with this man. Then he tried to talk me out of getting tests done, for no reason. He kept prying as in what my reason was, and I told him. I know it’s a standard practice to get this test done, I’ve done it before. He acted as if I was disturbing him, or the payment was coming out his pocket. If I can pay, I can get tested every week if I please. If it’s a service provided, provide it. After that interaction, the nurse apologized on his behalf and said he is like that and agreed with my reasoning. She stated he acts like this to all patients and that’s a problem.
