She is clear about what’s happening….makes one feel at ease….Allows and answers questions…She isn’t just working on you…she works with you….I TRUST HER….and I trust her with my vision…!!

She asked me a question, when I was answering her, she said, 'You are giving me a commentary, just answer yes or no.' She told me that I did not have AMD, then she wrote in my chart that I have AMD. She was extremely rude and made it known that she did not want to be there or she did not want me there.

I have been seeing Dr. Aliya Jiwani for the last several years due to Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD). She is the most caring, professional, knowledgeable, and proficient physician I have ever seen. When I first met her, Dr. Jiwani assured me that my AMD would be watched very closely and informed me of changes in my eyesight that I needed to keep her aware of. My visits have been often enough to watch for any changes; and, at no time, did I feel rushed. Dr. Jiwani would explain medical terms and pictures of my retina so that I understood my eye condition completely. She is the best!

Every appointment that I have had with Dr. Jiwani was focused on delivering the best possible eye care for me. I am visually challenged having been born with cataracts in 1959. Dr. Jiwani makes it clear with her thorough reviewing of all options to protect my vision that she understands how precious my eyesight is for me. I would give her the highest recommendation for her professionalism and her compassion!

I have been under Dr. Jiwani's care for about a year now. She is a doctor that really cares about her patients. She explains everything she is doing and why she is doing it. Dr. Jiwani listens to your concerns and makes sure that you understand.

Dr. Jiwani is one of the best doctors we have had. I have been dealing with my father’s eye doctors for years and she is the first to take his feelings into consideration and really accommodate him! She’s willing to go above and beyond to make sure he’s being taken care of!

Doctor Jiwani was very informative and very nice! She seemed to have an incredibly great grasp of her field! I always felt well informed, and I always understood what she was talking about even though some of the stuff was complicated she made me understand what was going on with my eyes!

Dr Jiwani was very knowledgeable about my retina issues and conducts a very thorough examination. She answered all of my questions concerning my eye issues. She is very pleasant to deal with. Highly Recommend!

Dr Jiwani is an exceptional doctor and person in all aspects of her profession. She treats her patients with the utmost respect, and explains any and all procedures in full detail, and takes the time to answer all questions that you may have. Her attention to detail and cleanliness is second to none. Although I happen to be going through some very serious problems with my eyes, under Dr Jiwani’s care, everything is moving forward in positive manner. I can be a “NERVOUS NELIE” but feel 100% at ease throughout every visit & procedure.

Dr Jiwani is very thorough, professional and explains herself very well. She is also very concerned with cleanliness and keeping her patients healthy in her care. My husband and I have come to trust her with the health of my husband's only eye, he lost sight in the other, so its crucial to keep this good eye healthy, and we would not feel comfortable seeing anyone else.

She understood my situation and worked with me to see me as soon as possible. The exam started on time and she was able to diagnose my problem, treat it, and give me the necessary information to make sure that would set me up for a positive outcome. She is very professional but at the same time very personable.

Dr. Jiwani is a caring, intelligent, relatable, timely, and just all-around amazing doctor! I'd like to elaborate more on each of Dr. Jiwani's strengths...Caring: Throughout my entire examination, Dr. Jiwani was very concerned about my well-being. At the end, when it was time to make my next appointment, Dr. Jiwani made sure that I had her business card and to call for ANY reason. She'd see me ASAP if I had concerns or changes to my medical issue.Intelligent: She fully answered any medical questions I had, no matter how obscure. I felt comfortable knowing she is an expert in her field.Relatable: When she answered medical questions, she made sure that I understood and would explain it in layman's terms. Timely: I did not have to wait long to see her. Between the patient before me and my own exam, it was maybe 3 minutes maximum, and that was time for her to look over the pictures of my eye.I know I'm gushing a bit here, but I do highly recommend Dr. Jiwani! :)

Dr. Jiwani was able to schedule me on very short notice. She was very detailed with the problem and gave me several options as to how to treat it. Dr. Jiwani answers any questions and is sure to follow up if you need additional care, I highly recommend her.

At age 91, it is difficult to find a doctor that will take the time to check me thoroughly and make sure I understand what is going on with my vision. Dr. Jiwani does exactly that. No matter how many questions I have, she answers them completely and never rushes me out. She’s so compassionate and I couldn’t recommend her high enough.

I have been seeing Dr Jawani for about a year for diabetic retina problems. She has been wonderful, caring and takes time to explain my condition so that I can understand it. You can tell immediately that she cares for her patients. I have never had a physician that makes me feel so comfortable. I would recommend Dr Jawani to all my friends and family .
