Dr. Alissa Shulman, MD

I saw Dr. Shulman a few weeks ago for a consult. I found her to be admirably honest; she actually advised me not to have surgery, and this, in my experience is rare. She was also kind, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Her consultation fee was very reasonable and much less than other plastic surgeons. I highly recommend her.

I had very old silicone implants removed by Dr. Shulman. I'm an open-water, long-distance swimmer, and wanted to make sure I still felt good (and like a girl) in a bathing suit. Dr. Shulman made the most out of what little fat I had available in the area, and created my happy new "iddy bitties." I can't say enough about how positive the whole experience was. Starting with my initial exam, the surgical procedure, through my final appointment (picture day!), I felt comfortable and cared for. Fabulous results! I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Shulman.

Dr. Shulman performed my bilateral breast reduction and I am beyond pleased with the results. From my initial consultation to post op follow ups, I was continually pleased with the quality of care I received. Since she runs her own small practice, dealing with the office was never a headache. Dr. Shulman is honest, attentive, down to earth, and well knowledgable about everything a surgeon should be. I believe her work as an artist helps ensure beautiful results as well. She listened to my concerns and I felt she was immensely trustworthy in her opinions and guidance. My one downside is that she doesn't accept insurance, but it was explained that my procedure wouldn't be covered anyway. However, I appreciated that a quote for my procedure was provided after my initial consultation so I wasn't left wondering about what the cost would look like. Plastic surgery is a daunting experience to go through, but I felt I was (literally) in very good hands with Dr. Shulman and her team.

I have had a hematoma lump in my right breast for 16 years, and I used to have some pain for years, so I finally decided to remove it, and at the same time have a breast lift. I made an appointment with Dr Shulman, and she said she could remove the hematoma lump, do some reduction on the sides and lift. While writing this review, I am in my third week of recovery from surgery, the results are beyond my expectations, she is an artist! .

I decided after 17 years that I no longer desired by breast implants and wished for them to be removed. They were at least 500 cc each (34C/D) and at 57 years old they just didn't fit my lifestyle any longer. I consulted with Dr. Shulman two years ago and decided that July 2021 was the time for their removal and I can say that I am over the moon happy with the result of the procedure. I am now about a perky 34A and I am very happy with that. Dr. Shulman did not try to sell me another implant and assured me that I'd have youthful perky breasts just using the tissue I have & that's what happened. She really did a wonderful job!!

I had my surgery in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic because Dr. Shulman and her team, gave me the confidence to do it. This is one of the best teams of medical staff that I have been around.

From my first consultation with Dr Shulman I felt totally confident that she could give me back my right breast. After 18 surgeries with 3 different male surgeons over 20 years Dr Shulman was able to perform the backflap surgery for me and I am so delighted to have two soft breasts in the right place. Dr. Shulman is amazing at what she does! She is a true artist. She performed a tummy tuck on me and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Dr. Shulman is the best plastic surgeon. She performed a breast reduction on me 7 yrs ago. My breasts were a G cup. She exceeded my expectations in her ability to take my sagging huge breasts to a C. She's an artist, a sculptor, & understands the beautiful "teardrop" shape of natural breasts. Every yr when I get my mammogram, mammographer always says I had a great surgeon. She's an exceptional asset to her profession. I highly recommend Dr. Schulman, she changed my life.
