Dr. Alison Shore, MD

I had breast reduction surgery with Dr. Shore about 18 months ago and I am so pleased. She is a wonderful and caring surgeon; I had interviewed several other doctors and her talent and bedside manner were far above every other doctor I’d met. Her office manager, Giselle, is also incredible and very kind. 100 percent recommend them both!

Dr. Shore is an absolutely wonderful surgeon and is an expert in her field. She knows exactly what she is doing and talking about and makes sure that patients feel completely at ease and understand exactly what to expect for whatever procedure they are seeking out. Incredible bedside manner and is an amazing person in general. She cares so much about the work that she does and the patients that she helps. Could not recommend her enough!!

Dr. Shore is PHENOMENAL! By far the best gender affirmation surgeon in Chicago, one of the nest in the country! I researched for 3 years before choosing to go with her. Not only is she a meticulous and amazingly talented surgeon, her bedside manner is above and beyond!!

Dr. Shore performed a Bilateral Breast Augmentation on me in early December 2019. I had researched and scheduled consultations with many doctors, but I knew right away that Dr. Shore was the surgeon for me when I met her in the summer of 2019. During my consultation I brought a long list of questions, which she patiently and throughly answered for me. Again during our pre op appointment she answered all my questions and explained what to expect immediately before and after surgery. My surgery and recovery went so smoothly, I was very impressed by the results and the way Dr. Shore supported me. Dr. Shore’s patient coordinator, Giselle, is also amazing! She’s very friendly and helpful. Walking into Dr. Shore’s office is surely a comforting feeling because I know that I will be treated with respect and concern. I can’t thank Dr. Shore and Giselle enough for taking such great care of me!!

She helped to make me feel comfortable and at ease during this life changing experience in my life. She answered all my questions whether it was during a scheduled appointment or when I called her. Her staff is very caring and professional as well. I whole hearted recommend Dr. Shore for anyone in need a plastic surgeon.

Dr. Shore did an amazing job on my chest. I had gender affirming surgery and am now 12 days post-op and incredibly happy. Dr. Shore clearly has a lot of experience because she did an amazing job. My incisions are clean and everything looks great. The thing that really makes Dr. Shore stand out though is her personality and the care she has for her patients. She takes the time to answer questions and has plenty of follow-up appointments to make sure you are satisfied.

I recently had gender affirming top surgery with Dr. Shore, and I'm also a surgical technologist that works with some of the best surgeons in Chicago. From the perspective of both a patient and someone who operates with surgeons everyday I am impressed and pleased with Dr. Shores surgical skills and bedside manner. My incisions are some of the best I've ever seen at only 4 weeks post op and are more precise than I even hoped for. Dr. Shore's staff is also always professional. Great practice!
