Dr. Alison Ruch, MD

Do not see Dr. Ruch. She does not listen, and when she asks questions it is more like an interrogation as opposed to a caring professional trying to get information. She completely over-rode what the PA and I had decided on for the next step of my treatment. She is demeaning and cold, so good luck if you have the displeasure of being in pain at the ER while she is working.

Dr. Ruch saved me from an impending seizure and helped me to straighten out a situation that could have turned ugly very quickly. She did all of this in a busy ER waiting room on a Saturday night, no less. She was calm, reassuring, and tactful. I’m an EMT. I typically come into the hospital through the ambulance entrance with patients of my own. I have firsthand knowledge of the level of stress that she was probably under. Her poise, and her ability to think on her feet in the middle of the storm (metaphorically) were very impressive. She saved me from seizures and a possible stroke and I can’t thank her enough.
