Dr. Alison Hitz-Vukich, MD

She was childish in her conversation. When we mentioned that we were married over 50 years she told how her parents were also married 50 yrs but the only reason for that was that her father would buy her mother a gift when they had disagreements! She told me I was obese because I'm 10 pounds heavier than the chart said I should be. I definitely would not recommend her to anyone.

Dr Vukich have been my son physician for the past four years. I have never had any issue and I found it to be surprising for a physician just to discharge a patient from a practice without valid information. She follow up with my son care and make sure im following up with my son specialist. I don't miss any of my son appointments. Happy patient and happy doctor.

I notified my dr (dr vukich) that my electrical devices were going off while on a cruise. Alarming to irregular heart beat. She made a apt w cardiologist . I went to the apt but there were 2 Baptist cardiologist on University Blvd. I went to wrong one. By the time I had it figured out ( the attendant found me in Baptist system). I was more than 15 min late. The dr office was calling saying where are you. I told them snd they said I couldn’t come because I was more than 15 min late. I made an apt in the car for next available. When I got home I realized I double booked it and called back to change the date. I subsequently receive a letter from my primary care dr telling me she’s firing me for non compliance. Non compliance because I went to wrong place made an apt in my car for wrong day but ultimately have an apt for the 26 of this month. How awful to be dealing with a heart issue and have to get a new primary care dr wait 3mo etc for new dr in the middle of a health crisis.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Vukich for years now. She is very thorough & personable. She takes my concerns seriously & helps me stay healthy.

First visit went OK. After that I realized this is not a hands on doctor. Most time spent looking in computer. A few breathe in, breathe outs and that's it. Very limited conversation, asks few if any questions. I am a diabetic and never checked my feet. I am a female never asked about my pap and never gave one. But what really got me thinking was when I had to ask about my test results. Her reply was it could be something serious or nothing! Imagine that! Great lesson for me!
