Dr. Alison Cooper, MD

I have had two appointments with Dr. Cooper and so far I am very impressed. She worked to demonstrate that I as a patient was in safe, capable, and communicative hands. She investigates and pursues science-based solutions. She doesn’t push anything that I’m not comfortable with and most importantly she takes my health seriously and takes all the time I need to really address my every single concern. This has not been a common experience for me when it comes to physicians.

We tried a few visits. It did not feel like it was based on science. I heard a lot of talk about supplements, the also did not know how to correctly interview a minor. Fortunately the minor was smart enough to not fall for guided questions. Though the first visit where she kept saying ' That is very concerning' made the minor think he had severe issues. She also asked leading questions per the minor ' Have you had trauma were you were abandoned or left alone somewhere? ' This person needs lessons on how to interact and question minor children. I am afraid of psychological damage she could do to them by interacting with them. The minor has had both in person and telehealth appointments. They were not impressed by either. I am sorry I pushed for them to try again, after they were uncomfortable after the first in person appointment. They maybe fine for adults, but I do not recommend taking a minor there. They were very condescending when confronted about their attitude.
