Didn’t have time to meet with me.
I requested and scheduled 4 meetings with him and he only showed up for one. Didn’t see him in the hospital at all. He didn’t attend the follow up meeting. Just seemed like he didn’t care. No patient benefit from an $89,000 procedure. This was a fine example of US healthcare. Surgeon and hospital benefit, patient pays, suffers. I wouldn’t send anybody to this surgeon. He’s a very failed practitioner.

Lied
He lied to me that I had fused, even put it in my medical record. How he could tell without a CT ,I do not know all he ever did was follow up X-rays. But I didn't. Had to have a repair surgery and have the contraption he put in deeply dug out of my neck.

I have had low back problems for 40 years from over use and to much heavy lifting and that had created a few different issues. I had my first surgery in 2015 by Dr. Roe to relive pinched nerves exiting the low back spine both sides at S1 to L4 vertebra and it helped to some degree. In 2018 Dr. Anissipour found that the two lower disc were getting squashed and the spinal cord was getting pinched and did a laminectomy and remedial work at previous surgery to clean up around nerves exiting the spine, this gave a good amount of relief but the main nerve pain returned 9 month later. In 2019 Dr. Anissipour found that my spine at L4-L5 was moving forward causing nerve compression and performed my third surgery in December 2020 and fused S1-L5-L4 and after three months of physical therapy for the first time in 10 years I'm almost completely free of nerve pain and it gets better each day. I believe this will 100% successful with more time. I want to thank Dr. Anissipour for helping me get back

I seen Dr Anissipour for a herniated disc in late July. I scheduled a date for surgery and had a laminotomy done August 23rd. My overall visit, surgery, recovery and post op have been wonderful. He made me feel very comfortable and trusting that the decision was right and I was in good hands. I am three weeks post op today and feel better then ever. I have have the best care from the moment I steeped into his office til now having gone through it all and feel great! Highly recommend him and his team at WWMG! Thank you all for the support and help along the way.

My initial consult with Dr. Anissipour was very pleasant. I had a flexion and extension xray done at his clinic prior to us talking. His exam was quick, as after he put his thumb in my lower back I jumped in pain. Then we went over my history of dealing with back issues for the past 5 years. There wasn't anything that I haven't done or tried up to this point. Nothing helped. My diagnosis was major spinal instability at L5 S1 with spondelolisthesis and pars defect. The new OLLIF surgery was put on the table by doc, I was told do my research on it and if I wanted to do it I just had to give him a call. After doing my research I opted for it. I am glad I did. I can walk again without needing to sit down all the time, my right leg numbness and feeling is normal, I can also stand again without pain. I got my life back. There is still work to do as weight loss and physical therapy but only 2 months out I am already happy with the outcome. New life, here I come.

I had a lower back surgery with him and during my one week check up I told him that it doesn't feel right. He told me to rest more. The next morning I was in agonizing pain and the receptionist said to go to a walk in. The walk in told me to go to the ER. ER said I'm lucky I got there bc I could've died. 3 surgeries later and I still hurt. I was supposed to be out of work for only a couple of weeks according to him... Six months later I went to work limping. That was March of 2017 and this is June of 2019 and I'm worse than I ever was. When I first told him that I didn't feel ok and he said I needed rest, I had a staph infection. How could he have missed that?! Oh...I also had a CSF leak that he told me that I didn't have two days before operating on me for having a CSF leak. Maybe he was just drunk? He's still never responded to my calls and it's been two years.

After being diagnosed with degenerative 5/6 disc, I'm so grateful to have been referred to Dr Anissipour. The pain was classic symptoms anterior deltoid pain much like a toothache. Post surgery the pain is gone and I couldn't be happier. I would trust him to perform surgery on my grandchildren. He's kind and has my full confidence.

After suffering chronic back pain for two years and painful Sciatica, I was referred to different specialists but finally to the Gateway Center. With much prayer I asked God to help me choose the right Surgeon. His answer was Dr. Annissipour. A Doctor who never talked down to me, I always understood what he was telling me. It is one month since back surgery and I am totally grateful to this Doctor. PS the cleanliness of the entire facility stands out.

I went 5 months with EXSTREEM back pain. Saw a lot of doctors and specialist. What I learned along the way was persistence. I cried at most appointments. AFTER 5 MONTHS of chronic pain and two years of pain, I was referred to Dr. Ali Anissipour who went in and promptly found a cist that was pressing against a nerve. Everyone else thought I had sciatica. I went to acupuncture, physical therapy, deep tissue massage with NO HELP. God bless and thank you for all you did. And I pray for everyone.

I recently fell and broke my hip . Dr. Anissipour with his assistant Jon Pennington were to give me a hip replacement . However during the process my heart condition would not accept the anesthesia for the length of time required. Dr. Anissipour used three metal pins to hold the bones together. So began the waiting and rehab work. I had one goal, to put one foot in front of the other and walk again at 88 years of age. Thank you, Dr. Annispour. dr. I

Was extremely nervous to have the back surgery recommended by Dr. Anissipour as everyone I talked to said not to have the surgery. Dr. Anissipour responded to each and every question I had regarding post surgery problems others had told me about. He gave me the option to cancel the surgery up to the day before. I had the surgery due to his assurances the surgery was what I needed and it would be successful. 3 1/2 months later standing tall, no pain and loving life. Thanks Dr. Anissipour.

I have literally never been treated so poorly in my life by a doctor. I have 2 ruptured discs in my neck and I have spent the last week unable to move at all. I called his office 3 times and they told me they couldn't help me over and over. I ended up in the emergency room where they finally treated my pain and stiffness. I went back to him 2 weeks later after seeing him the first time and he continued to treat me like a drug seeker. I left his office crying in pain and humiliated. Never again.

May 2017, I was in extreme lower back pain and was unable to walk, stand, or sit. After several weeks of severe pain and confined to a bed, I contacted Dr. Alireza Anissipoour's staff at" Western Washington Medical Group" in Everett, Washington. Dr. Anissipour was able to quickly evaluate my condition. I was scheduled for surgery to repair the vertebrae and disc affecting the nerve. I'm extremely grateful for Dr. Anissipour and his staff fora 100% pain free life again! Thank you so much!

Dr Anissipoour performed a relatively new procedure on me recently, called an OLIF ( Oblique Lateral Interbody Fusion). I had excruciating nerve pain for two years, even after a laminectomy in 2015. I couldn't walk without pain. When I woke up after this surgery, the absence of pain in my leg was the first thing I realized. I will be forever grateful to him for giving me back the ability to walk without nerve pain!! His bedside manner is calming, yet straightforward. He's the best.
