Dr. Alicia Sanders, MD

After going through IVF and now having a successful transfer. Dr. Sanders came highly recommended. The very first time I met her I felt like I was talking to a family member. She is very calm, and we discussed some options that were best for my situation. She gave me the reassurance I need to get through my pregnancy successfully and that baby was important. I always feel that she listens and trust her judgement is extreme situations. I’m thankful to have met her and be welcoming my little baby in a just a few short weeks.

If you are in search of and OBGYN this is your doctor. Dr. Alicia Sanders is fantastic. Dr. Sanders is a young mother her self and is so kind. She is caring and she really listens to her patients. I have now seen Dr. Sanders for 3 years. Dr. Sanders is easy to talk to and all around AWESOME.

Poor bedside manners. I visited Dr. Sanders to discuss a missed period and the possibility of being pregnant. She conducted a urine test, which came back negative. Despite my intuition and feeling pregnant, she dismissively suggested it was all in my head. However, a week later, I returned without a period and was ultimately confirmed to be pregnant through a blood test. It turns out, it wasn't just my imagination. When I asked Dr. Sanders about the potential causes, such as late ovulation, she simply replied, "I don't know, but it was definitely something." As the doctor, I expected a more informed response. Furthermore, during my follow-up appointment, I had to wait for two hours after my scheduled 9 am appointment with the ultrasound technician, which was confusing and frustrating. Dr. Sanders did not apologize for her previous remarks about it being all in my head. Overall, there is a clear lack of empathy, communication, and education in her approach. This experience reminds me of Christopher Duntsch, and as a result, I am trusting my instincts and seeking a new physician.

Not welcoming, very dry personality. Not very communicative with my questions/concerns. Not going back.

Dr. Sanders is an excellent doctor. She and her staff took great care of me. I had a surgery with her and everything went well. She listens and genuinely cares about her patients. I never felt like just another number. I would recommend her to anyone!

After my original doctor moved, I spoke to Dr. Sanders about my hormones and issues I’ve had because of them. She hadn’t asked me one question about additional symptoms and the entire time she had a smirk when I told her I’d like to have my hormone levels tested before I began a new birth control routine. Needless to say that was dismissed and I was just given brochures. I felt uncomfortable and not heard. I will not be returning.
