Overall, my experience at this doctor's office was beyond SHAMEFUL and left me feeling extremely frustrated and disrespected. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. It's clear that this business (especially the front desk guy, Mike) has no interest in prioritizing the needs and concerns of its patients, and I would strongly caution others against seeking care from this provider. The Los Alamitos office disorganization and unprofessionalism is next level. I had my first consultation and made my appointment for my surgery TWO months Ago. The surgery was for a serious matter regarding stitching up my under eye and it took me over six months to get this appointment in the first place. I was on my way to my surgery (which keep in mind the office is over an hour away from where I live) and then Mike calls saying my insurance hasn't been approved for my surgery. Keep in mind I had a reminder from the doctor's office earlier that week that everything was in order. However, less than a

Drs Alice & Julia Song have been treating me since 2013 when I developed Bell’s Palsy to my left eye & mouth. After 90 days at Casa Colima in a very extensive therapy program designed specifically for my Bell’s Palsy it was necessary for the doctors to perform surgery on my eyes & face in order to save my left eye vision & make my face symmetrical. The surgery was over 5 hours & their care and my results were excellent. I still continue my care with them & they are very attentive to helping me preserve my vision & look as normal & natural as possible. They are very kind, understanding and are excellent in their medical care. My scars are almost invisible based on their expertise. They are very conscientious in monitoring my vision due to the Bell’s Palsy virus still in my system. I highly recommend them.

Dishonest, performs unnecessary eye treatment to get more money from insurance companies. Be aware !!!!

We have been patients of Dr. Alice Song and Dr. Julia Song, for 11 years. They are both outstanding physicians and surgeons. They have helped us, our kids, and their grandparents, for various medical emergencies (including, most recently, sutures for my youngest) to routine eye care. If I think about people I have actually met who have contributed to humanity, they are on the list. They make a difference to the community with their medical practice and volunteer work, and they have definitely made us difference for our family, and especially us as parents. We are also indebted to Mike, the amazing office manager: the office is really well-run, the vibe is great, it's highly organized, easy to make an appointment, with great support staff.

She is comforting and compassionate, while also being highly knowable in so many fields of the eye. I walked in, thought I needed glasses. Dr. Song's exam revealed I had closed angle glaucoma AND cataracts. Dr. Song did a laser procedure (in her office, right then and there) for my glaucoma instead of diet and drops, b/c when she heard a/b my migraines and the meds I took, she didn't want to have to make me stop a migraine med to treat glaucoma (very thoughtful) and proposed the alternative.
