A True Patient Advocate
Dr. Abdulla is not only an excellent physician and surgeon but a true patient advocate. When my mother was in the early stages of diagnosis, she made sure to provide us with all of the resources needed to get her assistance with getting a biopsy done as we were experiencing issues with insurance approval. Throughout the treatment process, Dr Abdulla explained everything to us and was patient with us as I had to translate for mg during every visit. She took time to educate us on the diagnosis and treatment plan. She has been a great source of support throughout this process. Her office staff members are also awesome, especially her MA, Kandi! Thank you Dr. Abdulla!

Excellent experience with Dr. Abdulla and staff.
I felt extremely blessed that my PCP recommended me to see Dr. Alia Abdulla. No body wants to hear that they have cancer and the news are very hard to swallow but coming from a Dr that shows empathy, knowledge, kindness, and support, make a huge difference. After my first visit with Dr. Abdulla, she immediately recommended a series of tests needed to make further decisions. Her assistant Candy was also very kind and excellent at getting me all the appointments I needed in regards to the tests and other specialists I needed to see. At a time where you don’t know if you are going or coming, Candy took care of all my referrals and appointments and was extremely supportive. Every time I needed to talk to her, she was always available. What an excellent team. I can’t thank Dr. Abdulla enough for her excellent care, compassion, support and great referrals. I highly recommend Dr. Abdulla.

I was lucky and I want you to be lucky as well
This all began with Pie Rivera. You will be so glad when you speak to him. Pie, among other things, sets the appointments for Dr. Alia Abdulla. Wait until you meet. Definition of a fine and helpful person. He knows what he is doing. Then we were introduced to Kandy. One of Dr. Abdulla’s two marvelous nurses. She took my vitals as I continued to feel more at ease. She lightens things. Then, Dr. Abdulla comes in. Wow! She has a way about her, that I picked up on immediately. I was already feeling less apprehensive. Dr. Abdulla just gives you the feeling that she knows and understands your particular situation. Was prepared. She had my scans and results. She examined me. It was clinical, but comfortable. Then she sat down looked me in the eye and told me what she thought. It is scary yet you know you are with the right doctor. Excellent surgeon. Christiane was her other nurse for the follow up also wonderful and kind. Excellent Dr. and staff if I could give them a million stars I would

Dr. Abdulla saved my mom's life
My 90- year old mother developed a small bowel obstruction on a cruise and we were transported to Broward General where Dr. Abdulla performed surgery on her that very day. She literally saved my mother's life by performing surgery without delay and with her skill and good judgement was able to save her small intestine so that she wouldn't end up with digestive problems or a colostomy bag. We are beyond grateful for her care and compassion and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Best surgeon ever! Thank you, Dr. Abdulla!!!

Dr. Abdulla is a blessing in my life!
A year ago I met Dr. Abdulla and recieved the news no woman wants to hear: Breast Cancer. From that moment, Dr. Abdulla was not only by my side medically but she was a constat emotional support system for me. She has awesome bedside manners, detailed, caring, informative, and put me at ease at this difficult time. I was given a list of breast surgeons and chose Dr. Abdulla becasue she was highly recommended. I have had many visits with Dr. Abdulla and feel comfortable each time I see her since my surgery on September 19, 2022. I am blessed to have Dr. Abdulla as my oncologist and cant say enough about her. I know she loves what she does and she shows every patient this caring side of her! Sincerely Josephine Leugers

Dr Alia Abdulla. The best of the best.Rated A+
I met Dr Abdullah about two years ago. My husband was a patient of hers. because of her plesant, caring yet professional demeanor when I needed to find a surgeon it was not hard for me to try find her and become one of her patient. I called her office to get an appointment and her sraff was extremely helpful and understanding and was able to get an appointment the same afternoon because of my needs During our meeting I knew that I was I was in good hands and I had made the right decision. What stood out for me during my visit. Is her caring, plesant yet professional approach. She makes you feel that you are not just another patient that came to see her but that you matter. She took her time to go over the results and then waited for you to ask questions and clarify anything that you might not have gotten the first time. On my score card she gets 100%.She is as they come ,I cannot say enough about her . I recommend her highly and Broward Healh should be proud to have her on their team

Double mastectomy patient
I feel 10000% fortunate & blessed to have been referred to Dr. Alia Abdulla. Yes, she is a great surgeon, even when my radiologist saw me post op and looked at the report he said he was impressed with her work. I was a mess when I 1st met with Dr. Abdulla but she was, kind, compassionate, thorough and I knew I could trust her. I could see she is serious about saving lives and that she talks to you like a human being not just a case. She offered me every opportunity to recieve all the care I could benefit from after surgery that I feel could have been easily overlooked. Her demeanor makes me feel confident and secure, so much that even though I still have a way to go in the process of my treatment , knowing I will see her a few more times along the way makes me feel grateful and truly cared for. I have zero complaints. She is the fierce woman I needed on my team. I should also mention her assistant that was with me each appointment was kind and professional each and everytime!

I think it's necessary to share my experience because it's very sensitive when it comes to the health of others. My experience is that I became a new patient two years ago and was treated by Dr.Alia Abdulla. When I tried to schedule an appointment in 2023, they couldn't find my records or proof that I had been treated before, despite the fact that I had brought ultrasounds, mammograms, and my medical history the first time. They gave me an appointment and called me a few days later to reschedule it for January 10th. I agreed, but the wait was so long that I arrived at 2 pm and wasn't seen until 4:30. The doctor treated me as if it was my first time there, asking the same questions, etc. I explained that I had already been treated before, but they had not been able to find my previous appointment. To my surprise, the doctor's assistant, same who checked in the day of the appointment, called me again about a week later and asked why I missed the appointment, when they themselves had resc

Dr. Abdulla is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. An hour from my appointment at 9:30 am and after pay the fee I decided a dr that can’t manage her own time can’t be in charge of my health. She could not get to the phone to tell me results or actually make it to her 8:30am patient. Just disappointed to waste my time.

This was my first surgery ever, and I had a wonderful time. They let me take a nap while they surgeoned. I came out on the other side and was told I did a great job. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Abdulla and her staff for any surgeoning you need. Also a pretty quick and relatively painless recovery. Thank you Dr. Abdulla.
