What i originally suspected was a prostate issue actually was subsequently diagnosed to be a lesion (tumor) in my bladder. The procedure went smoothly and 14 days post op I am seeing a fairly remarkable return of an efficient bladder control function. Pain and bleeding was primarily day 1 (ground zero) and both were completely gone by day 3

Nicest doc, staff nice-but not too helpful post-op
He has the nicest personality I've ever seen in a doctor, and he got me in for a stone removal quickly. However, although surgery SEEMED to go well, five days post-op, I'm in agony 18 hrs post stent removal. I called with some questions (2x), maybe they were dumb questions, but although the other professional staff was nice in person, I didn't get many answers about my awful pain. I'm probably just in a bad mood because 18 hours after the stent removal, my pain isn't even being contained much with o x ys (can't use brand names on here???), ibuprofen, antispasmodics, antibiotics, analgesics, hot showers, fluids, heating pad, etc.I should have let the stone in. I didn't have pain before surgery, it was just huge stone, but this agony is awful. Doesn't seem worth it, and I was given no concrete expectations or percentages for severe pain 5 days later. Why am I having this throbbing 5 days after removal.?I thought about prostate surgery in the near futur. Not a chance.

Dr. Tourchi doesn’t spend enough time with his patients and is very rude and condescending.
