Dr. Sedarat performed the POEM procedure on me 2-1/2 weeks ago and the outcome couldn’t have been better. I feel as good as I did 3 years ago before having Achalasia. He’s a great doctor.

My experience: imo Dr exhibited a condescending dismisive attitude.Seemed very inflexible, ridged &offended if questioned or a Dr.’s opinion varied. I felt he dismissed discussions w/a well-read, educated, inquisitive patient but prefered the docile &unquestioning.At times Dr addressed my male spouse instead when possible.Readily accepted lab results that reportedly have statistics of 80%(or less)accuacy rate in cases that are indeed positive.Imo the experience felt dismissive&lacking compassion

Dr. Sedarat is a kind, compassionate doctor. He does not rush and listens intently when you speak to him. He takes the time to explain every detail. I always feel confident when I leave his office that he has answered all my concerns.
