Crohn's Patient
I saw Dr. Hashmi at St.Luke's Vintage after being severely dehydrated after a few days of frequent liquid stools. His first two visits left a lot to be desired considering this seemed to be a Crohn's flare. Bedside manner is subpar. Demeanor is very dismissive of female patients and nurses. Never gave his name on his first two visits. Talks at you while texting on his phone; I'm a millennial, and I was annoyed. In addition, my concerns about steroids were dismissed. His suggestion was to start immediately offering no alternatives while simultaneously starting Imodium. Only to have me immediately stop the steroids two days later after checking the imaging. The imaging was another issue no one from their team checked in before, during, or after and this was done in-patient. I know and have experienced better GIs in the past 22yrs by day 3, I decided to find a better more patient-focused GI team to follow up with post-hospital. I would not recommend him at all.
