Dr. Alfredo Huerta Jr, MD

Dr Huerta is kind, listens, and great bedside manner. I've been going to him for 4 years and am glad I can continue to go.

Dr Huerta is cold and he does not take time to listen. I saw him 3 times since the fourth time I went, he didn't even take the time to see me. The assistant came in the room to tell me that he wasn't going to see me. What doctor does that? He took the time to close out my prescription with the pharmacy so I could no longer get a refill from his prescription. What doctor does that? I am gathering all my information to file a formal complaint with my insurance company.

He deserves a 0. He is the worst doctor I have ever known. He is cold, sarcastic and he could care less about your health. The last appointment I had, he didn't even take the time to see me. He sent in the nurse to tell me he couldn't help me with my health concern. What doctor does that. Then he took the time to close out my prescription with the pharmacy. I am not able to get a refill and it will take time to see a new doctor. He is always in a hurry to get you out. COLD, SARCASTIC and a terrible attitude! The staff is very nice though. They were always nice and easy to talk to.

Terrible staff. Doctor does not listen, wants you to make multiple appointments, because you can only give him one symptom per visit. Also, if you give him honest feedback about his staff - rather than addressing his staff, he fired you as a patient.

I saw this doctor for 20 years, since he was first starting out, and then he fired me as a client. His staff is terrible and ever-changing. Nice enough guy, I really liked him, but he FIRED ME. What kind of doctor does that?

Had two visits with Dr Huerta last year. Was very impressed with how straightforward and thorough he is! I really like him! Unfortunately, my insurance situation changed and he stopped accepting Medicare! Otherwise, he would be my permanent doctor!

Dr. Huerta is a kind compassionate Doctor. He takes time to hear you & listens to what you say. I would recommend him to everyone, it's hard to find a good Dr.

I read some of his reviews and I must say interesting. I have been seeing Dr. Huertas for the past 6 -7 years. I don't self-diagnose myself and pay close attention to what he has to say. I follow direction and do question sometimes but he always gives a straightforward answer. I respect that! I don't see that he is out there to make a $$ on the patient if you don't like his diagnose seek out another opinion. He has been on the money with me. So he is deserving of my 5 star rating.

Dr. Huerta is excellent!

I started going to Dr Huerta as a kid in 5th grade. He's an incredible Doctor that genuinely cares about his patients! Now almost 25 years old, I'll still make the drive out to see him no matter what area of Houston I live in. There's no better doctor to trust. Thank you Dr Huerta!

I've been seeing Dr. Huerta for about 9 yrs. He's always very attentive and addresses all of my issues and concerns.

I had been seeing Dr. Huerta as my family physician for the past twenty years. While I personally like Dr. Huerta, I cannot recommend him as a family physician. His office staff is one of the worst I have ever experienced in any setting as they display incompetence and an overall lack of caring and follow-up. Fortunately, I have been healthy and have generally only needed annual preventative care. It wasn't until I had an acute episode did I see the total breakdown in this practice.

Dr. Huerta has been my PCP for a number of years now and has always been friendly, courteous and accurate in his diagnosis. I'm not looking any further.

I have been a patient of Dr. Huerta's for over 12 years. He has always exhibited the utmost courtesy and professionalism while also taking a personal interest in me as a person, not just a patient.

He took his time on going over my health conditions and what I needed to do.

Great visit and highly recommended , Dr. Albert Huerta was very attentive an thoughtful. He was also very easy going, friendly, caring, and highly professional. The receptionist and nurse were also professional and friendly. He listened to my concerns and asked me detailed questions before he finalizes his diagnosis and treatment.

Every time I contact the office, the staff is always friendly and accommodating whether it is an appointment scheduled in advance or an emergency when I need to see Dr. Huerta the same day. Dr. Huerta is very thorough in explaining what needs to be done to make ourselves feel better.

Dr. Huerta has been our family doctor for some years and has been solid in his diagnoses, reliable, and caring. Recently I suffered severe abdominal pain and internal bleeding. I felt Dr. Huerta truly went the extra mile for me, seeing me immediately and getting me in for needed imaging at Cy Fair Hospital straight from his office. After a 5 day stay at the hospital, I am fortunate and recovering. But things could have been much worse without the rapid early action taken by Dr Huerta.

I have been a patient of Dr. Huerta for well over 10 years now. He has provided excellent service, medical advice and treatments for all of the health concerns I've had since then.
